Which player among Serena, Barty, Osaka, and Kvitova has the best shot at Wimbledon glory?

Serena might be a throw out to win the silver plate. She last won Wimbledon in 2016. Not only that, but Serena hasn’t won a title yet in 2019. She bowed out in the quarterfinals at the Australian Open when losing to Karolina Pliskova. She bowed out early at the French Open, losing to Sofia Kenin in straight sets.

Osaka and Barty appear to be bad bets as well. Osaka lost in Round 3 at Wimbledon last year. She had a dreadful French Open, losing in the third round to unranked Katerina Siniakova. She also lost in the second round to Yunia Punitseva at the Nature Valley Classic.

Barty played well to win the French Open. Also, she is the world’s number 1 ranked player. However, the only ranked player she beat on her way to the French Open title was fourteenth Madison Keys. She did look great winning the Nature Valley Classic.

Petra Kvitova offers better odds than Barty, though. She also won Wimbledon in 2011 and 2014. The problem with backing Kvitova is that she missed the French Open with an arm injury. She hopes to play at Wimbledon. If she enters, she’s the favorite to back. If she bows out before stepping onto the grass, Barty is the favorite to back.

Which +1200 to +2200 tennis player can take the 2019 Wimbledon Championship?

Tennis handicappers are dumping on Simona Halep after she lost to Amanda Asiminova at the French Open Quarterfinals. But, Halep played well at the Nature Valley International. She lost in the quarterfinals to Angelique Kerber. Halep could step it up big time at Wimbledon and deserves consideration at the +1600 odds.

Angelique Kerber, the player that beat Halep, might be the overlay wager in this odds range. The defending Wimbledon Champion battles Ons Jabeur in the semifinals at the Nature Valley International on June 27. That’s a nice tune up for Wimbledon.

Who is the best pick among the +2500 to +4000 choices that can win the third tennis major of the year?

Amanda Anisimova has played great at both the Australian Open and the French Open this year. She lost in round four at the Australian Open. She made it to the French Open semifinals where Ashleigh Barty beat her. Anisimova pushed Barty in the first set, losing after a 7-4 extra set tiebreaker. The 17-year-old American has a shot to win Wimbledon.

Is there a tennis player at odds of +5000 or higher that can win Wimbledon?

At +6600, Petra Martic is being undervalued to win Wimbledon. She’s played well in her last couple of tournaments. She lost in the quarterfinals at the French Open to Marketa Vondrousova. At the Nature Valley Classic, she lost in the semis to Julia Georges. Martic is in good form. With some luck, who knows?
