2021 Andalucia Open Betting Predictions

Norbert Gombos Vs Federico Delbonis at 7:00 AM ET

World No. 99 Norbert Gombos takes on world No. 85 Federico Delbonis. The 30-year-old Slovakian is 1-4 on the year, but managed to get past Juan Ignacio Londero by coming back from a set down in the first round to win, 6-7 (3-7), 6-1, 6-3 on Monday. 30-year-old Argentinian Federico Delbonis is 6-5 on the year with his best performance being a run to the semifinals of the Chile Open early last month. Delbonis advanced by taking out Roberto Carballes Baena 7-5, 6-1 in the first round on Monday. While these two have never met, Delbonis is the far more accomplished player. Case in point, Delbonis is 135-158 in career with two titles. Gombos is just 17-40 with no titles. Keep it simple here and back Federico Delbonis to get the win.

Pick: Federico Delbonis in 3 Sets

No. 4 Albert Ramos-Vinolas Vs Ricardas Berankis at 9:00 AM ET

Fourth seeded Albert Ramos-Vinolas is ranked 47th in the world and comes into this match with a 9-6 record on the year. The 33-year-old Spaniard reached the finals of the Cordoba Open in February and made a run to the semifinals of the Argentina Open a week later. He reached the second round with a opening round bye.

World No. 88 Ricardas Berankis is 6-4 on the year with his best performance being a run to the third round of the Murray River Open in January. The 30-year-old Lithuanian reached the second round by beating Lucas Pouille in a three-set thriller on Monday, 6-4, 6-7 (5-7), 7-5.

Berankis won the only head-to-head meeting between these two 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 in Stockholm in 2012. This time around, i like the much more formidable  Ramos-Vinolas to extract some revenge. Ramos-Vinolas is 225-249 in his career with two titles while Berankis is 111-126 with no titles. Payback will be the name of this second round match.

Pick: Albert Ramos-Vinolas in 3 Sets

No. 1 Pablo Carreno Busta Vs Mario Vilella Martinez at 12:30 PM ET

World No. 15 and top-seeded Pablo Carreno Busta is 7-6 on the year with a run to the third round of the Australian Open being his best performance so far. The 29-year-old Spaniard is in the second round after getting an opening round bye. World No. 188 Mario Viella Martinez is 2-2 on the year. The 23-year-old Spaniard comes into this tournament off a run to the finals of the Challenger Tour level event in Marbella. Carreno Busta is the super easy pick to win and advance against a player that has yet to reach the ATP World Tour level.

Pick: Pablo Carreno Busta in 2 Sets
