30-years-old Bautista Agut has played well enough in the first two rounds of the Miami Open to secure a date with the great Novak Djokovic. Agut beat Janko Tipsarevic 7-6(7-3), 6-4, and Fabio Fognini 6-4, 6-4, to get to this position.
No doubt, battling Tipsarevic and Fognini will seem like a vacation after the first set on Tuesday versus Novak. Sounds crazy, but Djokovic could be vulnerable, though. He struggled versus Federico Delbonis, even losing a set 4-6, and needed extra sets to win the first set over Bernard Tomic in his first Miami Open match. Backing Roberto at the odds makes sense.
