Astralis had won 4 in a row before they lost to Ago at ESL Season 8. Some of the victories were down right impressive. The 2:0 win over Mousesports at IEM and the 3:0 victory over Team Liquid, also at IEM, stand out.

Cloud9 beat NRG eSports at ESL in their last. These two have faced off in Counterstrike many times. Lately in the rivalry, though, Astralis has had Cloud9’s number winning 5 straight. It’s hard to go against the chalk here.

Mousesports -139 vs MIBR +108

Mousesports split with Ninjas in Pyjamas at ESL Season 8 in their last couple of matches. Before that, they had swept FaZe in a couple of matches.

MIBR’s gone 4-1 in their last 5. They won 3 of those matches over Complexity. The other victory happened against Rogue. MIBR hasn’t played the same level of competition that Mousesports has. But, MIBR’s a tight outfit.

NRG versus NIP projects to be the most competitive match in CS:GO on Thursday. NRG went 2-1 at the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM). They went 3-1 at the ESL Season 8 in their last 4. Their lone loss happened to Cloud9.

Ninjas in Pyjamas has split with Mousesports, FNatic, and Windigo in their last 6 matches. NIP’s favored but both these squads offer less than even money odds. Backing NRG makes sense. Might as well take the better odds on what should be an extremely competitive match.

Team Liquid -222 vs North +169

North’s losses to Mousesports, Team LDLC, and Windigo in 3-of-5 doesn’t set them up well to hang with Team Liquid on Nov. 22.

Liquid is 4-3 in their last 7. They beat Ghost Gaming and Complexity, lost to Astralis, and beat FaZe and Team LDLC. Although North has a shot, Liquid should win.
