UFC Fight Night: Lewis Vs Daukaus Betting Odds & Picks

We are not quite at the end of the year, but for the UFC, this weekend represents the final bout on the 2021 schedule. The final Fight Night of the year is a busy one, with 6 fights set to go on the main card. It’s an earlier start for this one, with ESPN+ showing the main card starting at 4 PM EST. The UFC have pulled out all the stops to deliver a main card that should make fans happy until the action returns in 2022. Let’s look at the UFC odds for the 6 fights on the main card, with predictions for each.

MMA Betting Preview for UFC Fight Night: Lewis Vs Daukaus

Darren Elkins (+155) Vs Cub Swanson (-190)

The main card begins with a Featherweight bout that features a pair of fighters in need of a win. Elkins seems to be getting back to winning ways after 2 straight victories that came on the heels of a 4-fight losing skid. Swanson has been up and down in his last 5, going 2-3 and coming into this one after a loss last time out. I have Swanson winning this one by decision.

Diego Ferreira (+155) Vs Mateusz Gamrot (-185)

This Lightweight bout has the potential to be one of the best on the main card. Ferreira is 17-4 and looking to break out of a 2-fight losing skid. After winning 17 straight fights, Gamrot finally took his first loss, but he has bounced back to win each of his last 2 fights. I think Gamrot gets this one, and he might just do it via KO.

Raphael Assuncao (+215) Vs Ricky Simon (-275)

The Bantamweights are up next, with each of these fighters heading in very different directions. Assuncaoa is in desperate need of a win after losing 3 in a row, taking his record to 27-8 in the process. On the flipside, Simon has won each of his last 3 fights to move to 18-3 overall. I think Simon win here, but he might need to go the distance.

Amanda Lemos (-315) Vs Angela Hill (+255)

Both of these Strawweight fighters are sitting just outside the top 10 and a win here would likely move them up. Lemos is 10-1-1 overall and comes into this one on a 4-fight win streak. Hill has not had a lot of joy of late and has lost 3 of 4 to drop to 13-10. I think Lemos piles on the misery for Hill by taking this one by decision.

Stephen Thompson (-220) Vs Belal Muhammad (+180)

The co-main event of the night sees a pair of evenly matched Welterweights square off. Thompson is 16-5-1 and coming into this one on the heels of a loss and 3 defeats in his last 5. Muhammad is 19-3 and is unbeaten in his last 6, with one of those fights ending as a No Contest. I think this one goes all the way, with Thompson getting the decision.

Derrick Lewis (+110) Vs Chris Daukaus (-140)

The main event of the night is a Heavyweight bout that seems destined to end in a KO. Lewis is looking to bounce back after taking a loss last time out that dropped him to 25-8. Daukaus is 12-3 and on a run that has seen him win each of his last 5 fights. This should be a war, but I think it will be Lewis who gets the KO win.
