UFC Fight Night: Rodriguez Vs Waterson Betting Odds

Written by on May 7, 2021

We head back to Sin City this weekend for another UFC Fight Night and what looks to be a pretty loaded main card. There are a lot of big names coming to town for this one for what promises to be a fantastic night of MMA action. The bad news is that the expected headline event will not go ahead, as TJ Dillashaw was forced to cancel after receiving a cut above his eye. Still, we have 6 very good fights on the main card, so let’s get right to it along with their UFC odds.

UFC Fight Night: Rodriguez Vs Waterson | MMA Betting

Amanda Ribas (-185) Vs Angela Hill (+155)

The main card begins with a Strawweight bout that seems designed to get one of these fighters back to winning ways. Ribas saw her ascent in the division halted after losing last time out to take her record to 10-2. You would like her to get the win against Hill, who is 13-9 in her pro career. As you can see by that record, she has had a tough time staying consistent. Not an easy one for Ribas, but I think she gets the decision.

Diego Ferreira (+140) Vs Gregor Gillespie (-170)

The next fight up looks to be a very evenly matched Lightweight bout between a pair of fighters looking to bounce back from a loss. Ferreira saw a 6-fight win streak come to an end in a controversial split decision loss last time out, while Gillespie took his first career loss in his last fight to fall to 13-1 overall. This looks to be a fantastic matchup and one that could go the distance. Slight edge to Gillespie.

Maurice Greene (+155) Vs Marcos Rogeria de Lima (-190)

It’s a battle of the big boys next, with a pair of bruising Heavyweights set to step into the octagon. Bothe fighters have had their ups and downs of late, with Greene losing 3 of his last 4 to see his career record fall to 9-5. It has been a similar story for de Lima, who has now lost 3 of his last 5 to fall to 17-7-1. There is sure to be some desperation from both fighters and I do not see this one going the distance. I am taking de Lima by KO.

Neil Magny (+150) Vs Geoff Neal (-180)

With both of these fighters hovering around the top 10 in the Welterweight division, this is a big one for both of them. Magny saw a 3-fight win streak come to an end last time out, which dropped him to #9 in the division. It was a tougher loss for Neal, as a 7-fight win streak came to an end with a loss, keeping him outside of the top 10. I think Neal gets back to winning ways with a KO victory here.

Donald Cerrone (-190) Vs Alex Morono (+155)

The co-main event of the night is a Welterweight bout that features one of the most popular fighters in the UFC. Cerrone has been a fan favorite for a while now, but it does look as though the end is near, as he has 4 losses and a No Contest in his last 5 fights, albeit against great fighters. Morono has lost 2 of his last 3 to fall to 18-7 and will have a tough time against the veteran. This is a tough one to call, but I think Cerrone gets it by decision.

Marina Rodriguez (-220) Vs Michelle Waterson (+180)

What was the co-main event is now the headliner, as a pair of top 10 Strawweight fighters step into the octagon to do battle. After a dominating start to her career, Rodriguez has hit a bit of a wall of late, going 1-1-1 in her last 3 fights. Waterson lost back-to-back fights to a pair of very good fighters before bouncing back with a win last time out. This should be a close one, but I think Rodriguez gets the decision win.
