It is going to be impossible to top last week’s UFC 261 given that there were 3 title fights on that main card. That said, UFC Vegas 25 has a pretty solid main card to deliver this coming Saturday night. There are several bouts here that look intriguing, and we are going to get into all 6 fights on the main card, with predictions for each. That being said, let’s get right to it so you can make your bets against their UFC odds.
UFC on ESPN 23: Reyes Vs Prochazka | MMA Betting Preview
Poliana Botelho (-255) Vs Luana Carolina (+200)
The main card gets underway with a women’s Flyweight bout between a pair of fighters coming off losses. Botelho is 8-3 in her pro career, but she has now lost 2 of her last 3 fights, including her most recent. She will go against Carolina, who saw a 6-fight win streak come to an end her last time out. I think we are going the distance here, with Botelho getting the win.
Merab Dvalishvili (-260) Vs Cody Stamann (+200)
It’s the Bantamweights up next, with an in-form fighter going against one that could use a win. Dvashvili is in great shape at the moment, coming into this fight having won 5 in a row, all by unanimous decision. Stamann, on the other hand, has been a little up and down of late, going 2-2-1 and coming into this one on the heels of a loss. This is another one that could go the distance, with Dvashvili winning.
Sean Strickland (-275) Vs Krzystof Jotko (+215)
Next up, we have a couple of Middleweights looking to move up the rankings in what should be a good fight. Strickland is 22-3 and coming into this one on a 3-fight win streak, with 2 of those victories coming in the early rounds. Jotko broke out of a 3-fight losing skid to reel off 3 in a row, with all of those going the distance. I think Strickland continues to roll with the KO win.
Ion Cutelaba (-140) Vs Dustin Jacoby (+110)
We are getting into the meat of the main card now and have what looks to be a fantastic Light Heavyweight bout up next. Cutelaba is a little bit desperate at this point, as he has now dropped 2 in a row and 3 of his last 4. On the flipside, Jacoby is on the rise and coming into this one on a 4-fight win streak. Upset alert is possible here, but I think Cutelaba grinds out the win.
Cub Swanson (+140) Vs Giga Chikadze (-170)
We have the co-main event of the night up next, which is a Featherweight bout that looks to be an interesting one. On the one hand, we have Swanson, who is finding his feet again after breaking out of a 3-fight losing streak to win 2 in a row. On the other, we have Chikadze, a fighter moving up the ranks with 6 straight wins. I think he makes it 7 in a row via unanimous decision.
Dominick Reyes (+105) Vs Jiri Prochazka (-135)
The headline event of the night is a Light Heavyweight bout between a pair of fighters ranked in the top 5 in the division. Reyes is heading in the wrong direction, though, as he comes into this one on the heels of back-to-back losses. Prozachka is on fire and edging ever closer to a title shot after reeling off 10 straight wins. I think he keeps the good times rolling with a KO win.
