The Gamblers and Maulers meet in a battle of last-place teams in each division. Houston saw its four-game winning streak last weekend against red-hot Memphis. However, the Gamblers are still trending in the right direction.
Houston has a balanced offense, led by a strong effort from Mark Thompson, who has 417 rushing yards this season, and the passing of quarterback Kenji Bahar, who has 1,186 yards. Pittsburgh is a hard team to figure out. The Maulers’ typically strong defense got torched by Philadelphia last week for 37 points. Houston will get back on the board with a victory here.
