The Pittsburgh Maulers and Memphis Showboats are both at 2-3 so far this season, but those records mean very different things in their respective divisions. Pittsburgh is tied for first place in the North Division at 2-3, with all four teams in that division holding the same record. Memphis, meanwhile, is in sole possession of last place in the South Division with that same 2-3 mark.

In the final game of the USFL Week 6 schedule, the New Jersey Generals take on the Houston Gamblers. Mark Thompson is tied for the USFL lead with eight rushing touchdowns through five weeks, and he has helped open things up for the Houston passing game in a big way.
Speaking of running games, how Generals running back Darius Victor will rebound from three fumbles last week will go a long way in determining how this game goes. Victor’s confidence was clearly shaken after his turnovers against the Philadelphia Stars in Week 5. If he can get back on track here, the Generals’ number one weapon could help New Jersey get back into the win column.
