The Stars have allowed the most sacks in the league by far, and their lack of pass protection for Case Cookus could cost them again here.
Meanwhile, the Generals will look to use their running game to wear down the Stars. New Jersey has the second-leading rusher in the league in Darius Victor, but the Generals will need to find a spark through the air if they want to win this game and get back above the .500 mark.

What could be the game of the week in the USFL could be the Sunday finale between the Memphis Showboats and New Orleans Breakers. The Breakers have the number one passing offense in the USFL, with league-leading passer McLeod Bethel-Thompson throwing the ball at will. But the Showboats have improved their offense in a big way over the last couple of weeks, and could be a threat to the undefeated Breakers.
The Showboats switched to Cole Kelley at quarterback a couple of weeks ago, after an ineffective start to the season from former Memphis Tigers QB Brady White. Kelley has led the Showboats to 27.5 points per game over their last two games, after the Showboats scored a combined 25 points in the first two weeks of the year. Another big game from Kelley and the Showboats offense could result in the first major upset of the USFL season.
