The game of the week in the USFL this week is the matchup between the New Orleans Breakers and New Jersey Generals. These two teams are a combined 5-1 on the season so far, with the Breakers being the league’s lone unbeaten team remaining at 3-0.
In this contest, a major contrast in styles is set to unfold, and the team that can impose their style on their opponent will have the upper hand here.
New Orleans is the top-scoring team in the USFL through three weeks, with McLeod Bethel-Thompson leading the league in passing yardage thus far.

Last up on the USFL Week 4 schedule is the most lopsided point spread of the week, as the Birmingham Stallions are favored by over a touchdown against the Pittsburgh Maulers.
The Stallions had to make a quarterback switch early in the season, with J’Mar Smith going down with a season-ending injury right off the bat. Alex McGough has stepped in and played well, though, leading the league in passing touchdowns after Week 3.
If the Maulers want any chance of keeping up with the Stallions in this contest, they need to do a better job of converting red zone opportunities.
They were held to field goal after field goal last week against the Stars, and cashing in on a couple of touchdowns would have made a huge difference.
