2-of-5 bouts are championship battles. In the co-main event, Dominick Cruz takes on Henry Cejudo. Cruz hasn’t fought since 2016. Dominick is a legend, though.
Then in the main event Justin Gaethje hopes to rid Tony Ferguson of his championship belt. Gaethje said he’s making life hell for Ferguson. We shall see!
Don’t rest on your laurels after Saturday. If you’re a combat sports fan, White and UFC want to entertain you this May. After the bouts on May 9, you must wait just 4 days for another UFC promotion.
UFC Fight Night Smith vs. Texeira happens on May 13. Then on May 16, just 7 days from Saturday, UFC Fight Night Overeem vs. Harris happens.
