2024 NCAA Division I FBS football season | 155th season of college football in the United States
August 24, 2024 – December 14, 2024

2024 NCAAF Season

The new NCAAF season is just around the corner.

Starting on August 24, college football teams will strive to make it to the 2025 12-Team College Football Playoff.

For football sports bettors, now is the time to get down our future plays.

One of the best plays is on teams to go under their win totals.

Check out college football odds, analysis, and picks for six teams that have great chances of not eclipsing their current win totals.

NCAAF Win Total Under Picks

Florida State Under 9.5 -115

Head coach Mike Norvell did an excellent job replenishing the talent the undefeated 2024 Florida State Seminoles lost to the NFL Draft.

Transferring D.J. Uagielelei back to the ACC after he spent a season at Oregon State was a great move.

But the Seminoles have a tough schedule that includes road games versus SMU, Duke, Miami and Notre Dame.

Home games against North Carolina and Clemson aren’t automatic wins. FSU loses 3 during the regular season.

Alabama Under 9.5 -138

The payout odds have shifted to make Alabama a solid under play.

The opening odds had Bama at -115 to go under 9.5.

College football bettors have begun to realize that Bama’s defense could be a shell of what it was in the Saban Era.

At Wisconsin, Georgia, at Tennessee, Missouri, at LSU and at Oklahoma are all tough games. For sure, Bama loses 3 of those games.

Michigan Under 9.5 -215

It’s easy to see why Michigan’s payout on going under nosedived.

Oregon, Ohio State, USC, and Texas are on the schedule.

So is a tough opening game against a decent Fresno State squad. No matter how we cut it, the Wolverines will be in a transition season. So 4 losses is a real possibility.

UCLA Under 5.5 -154

The Bruins are a program in disarray.

Dante Moore, UCLA’s starting quarterback, transferred to Oregon.

Defensive coordinator D’Anton Lynn now calls USC head coach Lincoln Riley boss.

Chip Kelly calls plays for Ryan Day at Ohio State. So the Bruins lost their head coach, defensive coordinator, and starting quarterback in the same offseason.

There isn’t a single team on UCLA’s schedule that can’t beat the Bruins except, maybe, Hawaii.

Washington Under 6.5 +100

The payout odds are great on a program in transition after losing a ton of talent on both sides of the ball and head coach Kalen DeBoer, who took the top job at Alabama.

Washington is also changes conferences going to the Big Ten where they must face Michigan, Iowa, and Penn State. USC, Oregon, a tough road game against Rutgers, Northwestern, and Washington State are also on the schedule.

None of those games are easy wins for the rebuilding Huskies.

Arizona State Under 4.5 -152

The third former Pac 12 team on the list might be one of the worst college football teams in the country.

Arizona State road Arizona’s coattails to the Big 12.

If it wasn’t for Arizona saying they weren’t moving to the Big 12 unless the conference accepted ASU, the Sun Devils would be in purgatory.

ASU could lose every game this season.

Teams like Kansas, Texas Tech, UCF, BYU Cincinnati, BYU, Arizona, Oklahoma State, and Kansas State have no business losing to the Sun Devils.

Mississippi State should dominate ASU.

Even Wyoming has a shot of beating Arizona State.

Texas State might be a win, but the Bobcats offense rocks and the game is a Sun Devils’ road matchup. Under 4.5 should be a lock.

NCAAF Win Totals Under Picks for the 2023 Season

Previous Betting News

The College Football season is right around the corner. In fact, we are closing in on a week to go for the College Football opening weekend. We are excited about it and expect it to be a great season.

Let’s take a look at some of our sure college football win totals UNDER picks for the 2023 season.

Sure College Football Win Totals Under Picks | MyBookie Regular Season Betting Preview

2023 NCAA Division I FBS season | 154th season of college football in the United States
Regular Season: August 26, 2023 – December 9, 2023
Post-season: December 15, 2023 – January 8, 2024

Illinois Fighting Illini

RWS: Illinois Fighting Illini 6.5
Quarterback: Luke Altmyer
Coach: Bret Bielema | 3rd season

The hype is here for Illinois. The West Division is wide open, but it seems the Orange and Blue still have work to do. There is a good chance they will be 3-1 going into their trip to Purdue.

But games on the road at Iowa Minnesota and Iowa late in the year, along with a home game against Wisconsin, will set them back. Look for Northwestern at the end of the season to be their 6th win and a trip to a bowl game.

Take the UNDER for the Illini at 6.5.

Baylor Bears

RWS: Baylor Bears 7.5
Quarterback: Blake Shapen
Coach: Dave Aranda | 4th season

The Bears were one of the best at running the football a season ago. Baylor will still look to get the ball on the ground and run it down the team’s throats. But the 2023 edition is going to have a hard time winning eight games.

The non-conference game against Utah and then games against Texas, Arkansas State, and TCU are going to be quite the challenge. Don’t forget Texas Tech, Iowa State, and West Virginia on the slate. The Bears should go to a bowl game, but seven wins is their limit.

Bet the UNDER 7.5 for Baylor.

Colorado Buffaloes

RWS: Colorado Buffaloes 3.5
Quarterback: Shedeur Sanders
Coach: Deion Sanders | 1st season

We are not buying into the Coach Prime hype. Remember, this team was one of the worst teams in all of College Football a season ago.

Now, we are expected to think they are going to turn around and win several games completely. There will be some new players on campus, but still a tough task to get them to gel and perform.

Betting the UNDER 3.5 wins is a risk, but one we are worth taking for the Buffaloes.

NCAAF Win Totals: UNDER Colorado 3.5 | Bet Colorado Buffaloes to Win

North Carolina Tar Heels

RWS: North Carolina Tar Heels 8.5
Quarterback: Drake Maye
Coach: Mack Brown | 15th season

The Tar Heels come into the season ranked 21st in the Associated Press Top 25.

The Tar Heels do not have an easy game on their schedule in the first several weeks. Winnable games? Sure, but none they can turn to and say that’s a win.

The Tar Heels start with South Carolina and Appalachian State, and then Minnesota. If the Tar Heels live up to their hype, they should win those and will be cruising when they play a stretch of Virginia, Georgia Tech South Carolina, and Campbell in late October and November.

Betting the UNDER for the Tar Heels would be the right choice here.

NCAAF Win Totals: UNDER North Carolina 8.5 | Bet North Carolina Tar Heels to Win

Wake Forest Demon Deacons

RWS: Wake Forest Demon Deacons 6.5
Quarterback: Mitch Griffis
Coach: Dave Clawson | 10th season

This is a team that lost quite a bit, including their quarterback from last season. Now, they get a whole new quarterback with different weapons and compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference?

As for Wake Forest, we will take the UNDER 6.5 wins and them missing a bowl game completely during the 2023 season.

NCAAF Win Totals: UNDER Wake Forest 6.5 | Bet Wake Forest Demon Deacons to Win
MyBookie Betting Lines for the Season

UCLA Bruins

RWS: UCLA Bruins 8.5
Quarterback: Ethan Garbers
Coach: Chip Kelly | 6th season

Our final team to go against this season is the UCLA Bruins. The Bruins have a trip to San Diego State in non conference play and will face Utah, Oregon State, and USC all on the road.

Arizona State is also on their schedule, and Washington State is a team that could knock them off. New faces at UCLA will cause some year-long struggles. Taking the UNDER for the Bruins is our plan.

NCAAF Win Totals: UNDER UCLA 8.5 | Bet UCLA Bruins to Win
