Written by on January 23, 2020

Are you ready for Kane’s favorite pay per view? That is right, the Big Red Machine confessed that the annual throwing people over the third rope fest is his favorite WWE annual event, hinting that he might be in the 2020 edition next Sunday from Houston, Texas.

However, Royal Rumble is much more than that, so let us take a closer look at the entire card while making some WWE Betting predictions.

WWE 2020 Royal Rumble Odds, Preview & Prediction

  • When: Sunday, January 26, 7:00 p.m.
  • Where: Minute Maid Park, Houston, Texas
  • Brands: Raw / SmackDown / NXT
  • Live Stream: WWE Network

Men’s Royal Rumble Match

Once again, the prize for winning the Royal Rumble is a direct ticket to the main event of WrestleMania, which explains why Roman Reigns, Cain Velazquez and CM Punk come in as the favorites to win the Men’s match. Eventually, the Big Dog is going back to the top, while a rematch, a real match, between Velazquez and Brock Lesnar is the reason why the former UFC fighter appears on the list.

The fact that CM Punk joined WWE Backstage on Fox several weeks ago means that there is a chance of him getting back into the ring. Royal Rumble is known for being the perfect scenario for big surprises, and Punk coming back to wrestle would be a huge one for the WWE universe.

Some other confirmed participants are Brock Lesnar (entering No. 1), AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Rey Misterio, Drew McIntyre, Dolph Ziggler, Rusev, Bobby Lashley, Aleister Black, Nakamura and Braun Strauman.

Women’s Royal Rumble Match

In 2018, Asuka won the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble match, and Becky Lynch did the same one year later, nevertheless, none of them appears at the top of the favorites to win it all in 2020. For some, Shayna Baszler and Rhea Ripley are rising stars, and WWE needs to refresh the Women’s Division, but the possibility of Ronda Rousey returning after almost a year of not competing in a WWE ring looks promising, and would be a huge surprise too.

Some other confirmed participants are Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Nikki Cross and Sarah Logan.

The Fiend vs Daniel Bryan

Bray Wyatt, nowadays better known as The Fiend, faces Daniel Bryan with the WWE Universal Championship on the line. The Fiend won the title back at Crown Jewel by defeating Seth Rollins and already defended against Bryan in Survivor Series, nevertheless, Bryan got some dark tips from Kane during the last episode of SmakDown. Right now The Fiend is one of the biggest WWE attractions so he might lose the match but not the title.

Becky Lynch vs Asuka

Once again, the Raw Women’s Championship will be on the line. Becky established as The Man longtime ago, but Asuka comes in as her fieriest rival yet, making this match a very interesting one.

Asuka comes in as the underdog at the latest Royal Rumble 2020 Odds.

Just as The Fiend, Becky is selling many t-shirts, which is why a DQ ending cause by Kairi Sane (Asuka’s partner) looks more than possible.

Roman Reigns vs King Corbin

The “Big Dog” as big favorite should not be a surprise, he’s Vince’s chosen one, and right now, he’s like Superman facing Lex Luthor as King Corbin has become one of the top heels at the company, and the WWE Universe simply doesn’t like him.

Bayley vs Lacey Evans

The SmackDown Women’s Championship will be on the line. Lacey Evans fought against Becky Lynch for the belt at Raw, but “The Man” were too much. Against Bailey, the upset chances are considerably improved.

Shorty G vs Sheamus

  • Royal Rumble Odds: TBA

That’s right, Sheamus is back but not for a top superstar push, instead, he’s going to be the guinea pig for the WWE to try and push a very talented Shorty G, who should come out with the victory in this one.
