He’s thrown the most touchdowns, 7, in the league. Walker could put a beating onto the 0-2 Tampa Bay Vipers on Saturday.

In Week 2, Tampa Bay backup Taylor Cornelius didn’t play any better. But things could turn around for the Vipers at the quarterback position in Week 3. Murray might play. If he doesn’t, Tampa could run a more QB/RB system with Quinton Flowers. Not only that but Tampa’s defense only yielded 17 points to Seattle in Week 2. The Vipers have a shot to cover.

Tampa Bay’s offense is a mess. The defense has played well, but the offense is in shambles. Not only is Aaron Murray hurt but when he did play, he didn’t play well. Almost as important? Neither Taylor Cornelius nor Quinton Flowers has stepped it up. Flowers has been a huge disappointment rushing the football.
Things wouldn’t be so bad if the Vipers didn’t play the Roughnecks on Saturday. Houston sends one of the top 3 quarterbacks in the league to battle on Feb. 22. P.J. Walker has a 7 TD to 1 INT ratio. His QB rating is a monstrous 107.4. Even if Tampa’s offense turns it around, the Vipers won’t keep up with the Roughnecks’ on the scoreboard. Houston rolls to an easy win and cover.
