Why DC Defenders are a good bet -8
Without a doubt, DC has played one of the top teams in the Xtreme Football League. Led by quarterback Cardale Jones, the Defenders have gone about their business like a top NFL squad. In Week 1, they beat the Seattle Dragons 31-19. Then in Week 2, they pummeled the New York Guardians 27-0. The Week 2 victory over the Guardians is the most impressive performance by any XFL team so far this season. DC not only squashed the Guardians’ defense, but they also shut out New York’s offense. It was the first shutout win in the new XFL’s history. The Defenders should have no trouble beating and covering versus the Wildcats on Sunday.

Why L.A. Wildcats are a good bet +8
The L.A. Wildcats have yet to get going. They had their chances in Week 2. They couldn’t close the deal. The Wildcats lost 18-25 to the Dallas Renegades. During multiple times in the matchup, Los Angeles could have taken over. But Dallas is the squad that took over. The good news is that the Wildcats improved big time from the 17-37 loss to Houston in Week 1 to the loss in Week 2. If they improve in Week 3, it might be enough for Los Angeles to grab an ATS win.

Defenders vs Wildcats Final XFL Week 3 Betting Analysis
The Wildcats did play much better versus Dallas than they did against the Houston Roughnecks. But the XFL schedule makers weren’t kind to Los Angeles. The Houston Roughnecks and DC Defenders are the two top squads in XFL.
We can’t compare the Defenders to the Renegades. In fact, even if the Wildcats improve in Week 3, it’s doubtful to be enough to keep this close. Houston quarterback P.J. Walker roughed up Los Angeles’ defense with 272 yards and 4 touchdown passes. DC quarterback Cardale Jones will at least match Walker’s performance. Cardale could exceed what P.J. accomplished against the Wildcats.
Los Angeles is in trouble on Feb. 23. Although the Defenders are on the road, DC should handle the L.A. Wildcats. Back the Defenders to win and cover.
