Why Seattle Dragons are a good bet +12 ½
Seattle has a single victory, 17-9 over Tampa Bay in Week 2. But although the Dragons are one of the worst teams in XFL based on the record, they have played tough. In Week 3, Seattle stood toe-to-toe with Dallas to lose by 12. Week 4 saw the Dragons hang with the St. Louis Battlehawks in a 7-point loss, 16-23. If Seattle’s offense can get going, the Dragons could keep this close enough for an ATS win.

Why Houston Roughnecks are a good bet -12 ½
So far, the Houston Roughnecks are the best team in the Xtreme Football League. Only one team has gone undefeated after 4 weeks. That’s the Roughnecks. Houston relies on a top offense. The Roughnecks offense has scored 16 touchdowns this season. That’s 4 more TDs than the team with the next most. The L.A. Wildcats have 12 touchdowns. Although this is a tough spread, the Roughnecks’ offense should score close to 30 if not eclipse 30. That many points should lead to a cover.

Dragons vs Roughnecks XFL Week 5 Final Betting Analysis
Seattle’s got issues. The defense has played well at times. It’s the offense that’s killing the Dragons’ season. Seattle has scored 9 touchdowns. Although that’s more than 4 other teams in the XFL, it hasn’t provided enough firepower for the Dragons to compete.
Houston scored 37 points in Week 1, 28 in Week 2, 34 in Week 3, and 27 in Week 4. The Roughnecks rely on top quarterback Phil Walker. The former Temple signal-caller has thrown for 987 yards. His TD to INT ratio is 12 to 2.
Walker should dominate Seattle’s defense on Saturday. Because the Dragons struggle on the scoreboard, the Roughnecks are the play. They’ll score enough for the win and cover in this XFL battle between one of the best and one of the worst in the league.
