Washington Huskies vs Michigan Wolverines
ATS Odds: Michigan -4.5
SU Odds: Michigan -200 / Washington +170
O/U Odds: 56.5

Big Ten Champion Michigan Wolverines

The Michigan Wolverines are 14-0 on the season after winning the Big Ten regular season, and then beating Iowa in the Big Ten title game. The Wolverines needed overtime, but they got the job done last week at the Rose Bowl against Alabama. The Wolverines are the best defensive team in all of College Football, as they are allowing just 9.5 points per game.

In fact, Michigan has played 14 games, and just six of those games they allowed double digit scoring. Michigan allowed 20+ points in just three of those games, and no team all season scored just more than 24 points in a game against the Michigan defense.

Offensively, Blake Corum is the go to guy. Along with quarterback J.J. McCarthy, Corum gets the ball early and often. The running back has carried it more than 230 times and has 1,111 yards and 25 touchdowns on the season. Roman Wilson is another guy with the ball often for Michigan. Wilson has 12 touchdowns on the season.

Pac-12 Champion Washington Huskies

For Washington, you will hear Michael Penix Jr early and often. The signal caller has been absolutely fantastic this season for the Huskies. In the win over Texas, Penix threw for more than 400 yards. He needs just 352 yards in this game to reach 5,000 on the season. Penix Jr has thrown 35 touchdowns as well.

The top target for the Huskies has been Rome Odunze. He has caught 73 passes for 1,553 yards and 13 touchdowns. The Huskies have other guys capable of taking over a game in the receiving core as well.

Washington has won all 14 games this season, and 10 straight have by 10 points or less. The Huskies beat USC 52-42, which was the biggest blowout win since their 59-32 win over California at the beginning of October. Washington went through a stretch of wins, where they beat Oregon, USC, Utah and Oregon State, before another win over Oregon during that time.

National Championship Final Prediction | Huskies Top Wolverines

We expect this to be a really good College Football game. It is for the national title, so it would make sense. A season ago, when Georgia smoked TCU, it was not competitive. We expect this game to be competitive. When push comes to shove, we are still going to take Washington to cover the spread, and also win the game.

We like the offensive attack of the Huskies over the defensive play of the Wolverines. Bet Washington +4.5 over Michigan. Also, the total for this game has moved a bit. While it started between 54 and 55, it is currently at 56.5. We like the UNDER, but barely with Washington winning the game 28-27 over Michigan.

Forget the College Football Odds; Which Team is Really Going to the National Championship? | MyBookie Betting Preview

2024 College Football Playoff National Championship | 10th edition of the Title Game
January 8, 2024

The College Football season gets started this weekend with games. The games will last through December, and we will crown a national champion in January. It’s time to make the final bets about who really wins the College Football Championship.

What team actually wins the National Title? Let’s take a look at our piece on which team is really going to the National Championship.

Georgia Bulldogs

National Championship Odds: +220
Quarterback: Carson Beck
Couch: Kirby Smart | 7th season

We are supposed to forget the odds, so there does not need to be any discussion about how Kirby Smart and his team are favored to win it all for the third straight season.

Stetson Bennett, Jalen Carter, Kelee Ringo, and Christopher Smith are all gone, but this is still the best team in the country. Brock Bowers is back as one of the best targets on the field in all of the game. New faces have come in, and the defense will once again be nasty.

Carson Beck is the name of the new signal caller for the Georgia Bulldogs. He won the quarterback battle over Brock Vandagriff. Not only does he have big man Brock Bowers, but also Ladd McConkey as a key receiver. The Bulldogs have shown to be a money pool of running back talent, so there are no concerns there.

We mentioned new faces on the defense – but guys like Zion Logue, Nazir Stackhouse, and Warren Brinson are back. There are other young guys that will also return to give the Bulldogs elite talent across the board.

The Bulldogs have a soft schedule to start the season, so look for any quarterback inexperience to be settled by the time a big game hits the boys from Athens.

National Championship Odds: +220 | Bet Georgia Bulldogs to Win
MyBookie Betting Lines for the Season

USC Trojans

National Championship Odds: +1425
Quarterback: Caleb Williams
Couch: Lincoln Riley | 2nd season

Caleb Williams is back and ready to lead the charge to the College Football Playoff and beyond for the Trojans.

Again – no odds to discuss – but in their final season as a member of the Pac-12: the Trojans are the favorites to win it. The offense was not the problem a season ago, but the defense will have to be much improved this season.

The USC Trojans picked up transfers from Oklahoma State and Georgia that should give them a boost. The schedule for USC this season is pretty soft early in the season and loaded up late in the year. It will be a challenge to navigate through it, but that’s why Lincoln Riley picked up the big bucks to come to Pasadena.

USC should feature MarShawn Lloyd in the backfield but have numerous weapons for whoever gets the nod. A name to remember is Cue Robinson. The 6’6 tight end is going to be one of the best players in the country, along with Dorian Singer, who came over from Arizona. He was a first-team All-Pac-12 player a season ago.

Finally, the defense was able to get turnovers a season ago. But, getting off the field in any other way than a turnover was nearly impossible for the Trojans.

Alex Grinch is back for another season as the coordinator, and he has a big challenge to fix things in a season. Lincoln Riley is not “waiting for next year” anymore, as this is the year they expect to be competing at the top.

National Championship Odds: +220 | Bet USC Trojans to Win

Good luck with all your College Football betting this season. We expect this to be a great season. We hope our look at the National Championship picture without any odds helped you make your mind up on who you are going to pick. Enjoy!
