Bellator 300: Nurmagomedov vs. Primus Betting Odds, Analysis & Picks

Bellator 300, Betting Odds and Prediction for Nurmagomedov vs. Primus: Make no mistake, though, Bellator 300 is all about the big title fights, which is where I assume the majority of the wagering dollars are going to go. | 2023 Bellator Betting | MyBookie Sportsbook

We have a bit of an unusual event coming this Saturday night, as the card for Bellator 300 is set up a little differently than what we are used to. This event is mostly bouts labeled as prelims, all of which are followed by a trio of title fights. We usually only focus on the main card when we do these previews, but I thought that perhaps we should pick a couple of the prelims and include those in the mix, too. Let’s dive right in and see the Bellator picks for this event.

Liz Carmouche -312 Vs Llima-Lei Macfarlane +198
Cris Cyborg -714 Vs Cat Zingano +368

Dmytrii Hrytsenko Vs Justin Montalvo

This is the first of the 2 prelim fights that we will be covering here, and it comes in the Catchweight division. Hrytsenko comes into this one with a perfect 8-0 record, although just 1 of those wins came with Bellator. Montalvo is 2-1 with Bellator, moving to 5-1 overall in the process, but he will be looking to bounce back after losing his last fight. I think this one goes the distance, with Hrytsenko remaining unbeaten.

Lorrany Santos Vs Jackie Cataline

The ladies are up next for a Featherweight bout that, in my opinion, might not be as close as the odds suggest. Santos comes into this one with a 6-1 record, which includes 6 straight wins after losing her first pro bout. Cataline is 3-3 overall and has lost each of her last 2 fights. Cataline might be able to hang in all the way to the end, but I still think she ends up taking the loss.

Liz Carmouche Vs Llima-Lei Macfarlane

The first of the 3 title fights on the night is for the Women’s Flyweight Championship, with Carmouche in as the defending champ. Carmouche moved over to Bellator and made an immediate impact, winning all 6 fights, as well as the title. Macfarlane has fought almost exclusively with Bellator, going 12-2 in her time with the organization. She is a brawler, but I think she comes up short here.

Cris Cyborg Vs Cat Zingano

Both of these fighters have spent time in the UFC, but now they meet in a Battle for the Bellator Featherweight Championship. Cyborg is the reigning champion and has 6 straight wins, which includes being unbeaten in her time with Bellator. Zingano has also won all of her fights (4) with this organization, so something has to give here. I think it will be Cyborg keeping the belt with a KO win.

Usman Nurmagomedov Vs Brent Primus

We close the night out with a battle for the Lightweight Championship in what looks to be a rather one-sided matchup. Nurmagomedov is the overwhelming favorite here, which is no real surprise when you consider that he comes in with a perfect 17-0 record. Primus is 12-3 overall, but he has been inconsistent of late, going 2-2 in his last 4. This should be a pretty straightforward win for Nurmagomedov.
