Which driver has the best chance of winning the Geico 500 among Brad Keselowski, Joey Logano, Kevin Harvick, and Clint Bowyer?

Although Keselowski, Harvick, and Bowyer all have a shot any time they sit behind the wheel of a racecar, it’s almost impossible to look past Joey Logano. Logano finished second in Richmond on April 13.

Not only that, but he won the 2018 Geico 500. Logano took the checkered flag over Kurt Busch and Chase Elliott. So far this season, Logano has five Top 5 finishes and six Top 10 finishes. He’s won a pole and he’s even won a race, taking home the trophy in Las Vegas on March 3.

Logano’s in excellent form. Not only did he finish second at Richmond in the last, but he also finished third at Bristol on April 7. He can win the Geico 500 on Sunday.

Which driver at +2200 odds or less has the best shot at taking the checkered flag?

Kurt Busch offers decent odds for a driver that always seems to excel at Talladega. Busch has averaged an 11.75 finish in the last 4 races at Talladega Superspeedway. Not only that, but he finished eleventh at Richmond last week and before that had finished second at Bristol and ninth at Texas.

Busch finished second behind Joey Logano at the 2018 Geico 500. He should race well this Sunday and deserves a serious look as a dog that can take home the trophy.

Which +3000 or +4000 driver can win the Geico 500?

At +3000, Erik Jones should be taken seriously. Jones hasn’t been in great form in recent races. He finished fourth at Texas, but outside of that excellent finish, he was nineteenth at California, thirtieth at Martinsville, twenty-fourth at Bristol, and fourteenth at Richmond.

Jones also hasn’t had great success at Talladega. However, it should only be a matter of time before he puts it together while the fourteenth place finish at Richmond is much better than we might believe. Erik started thirty-fifth. So, he improved significantly. At the odds, Jones is worth a look.

Is there a driver offering +5000 odds or more that can win the Geico 500?

Ryan Newman finished ninth at Richmond last week. He probably shouldn’t offer +5000 odds to win the Geico 500 on Sunday. Newman averages a 15.25 finish at Talladega Superspeedway. He could surprise and deserves a long look since he’s recorded a couple of Top 10 finishes in the last 4 races at Talladega.

Newman can take the checkered flag at massive odds. He’s the long shot to back if you’re thinking that way.
