There are numerous racing leagues all over the world that are adored by fans. However, some of these may not be known to just NASCAR and Formula 1 viewers.
One league that you should check out is the FIA E World Championship series. These electric cars will be coming to Rome this weekend, and the race should be epic.
There is also a ton of Formula E Betting value when it comes to this series. Bookmakers often overlook these markets because they do not have the same popularity as Formula 1 or NASCAR.
The Rome E-Prix is scheduled for April 10 and 11 in the streets of Rome. This will be the third and fourth round of the 2020-21 FIA Formula E World Championship. The new circuit will bring on a lot of challenges for the drivers.
Formula E Betting Analysis for the 2022 Rome E-Prix
The Course
The first important thing to know about betting is the layout of the course. The Rome E-Prix circuit will be the same layout over the two days.
It’s the second-longest track in Formula E history with high-speed turns. There are also a lot of sharp braking zones, which cause drivers to use caution but also speed to gain ground.
There are 19 turns on the 3.3385km circuit. The longest track in the series occurs in Beijing, but this one rivals that length and presents more challenges as a new course this season. The Palazzo dei Congressi and Piazzale Marconi are two of the landmarks that will be on the route.
There will be plenty of opportunities to overtake on the course, but if drivers are not cautious, they will get caught in a 90-degree bend. This is the favorite section for most of the drivers because of the complexity and one that you will love watching as a fan.
Drivers to Watch
Nyck de Vries of Mercedes is the favorite heading into the race. Mercedes cars have been dominant in all series throughout the world because of the money they spend on engines. The driver hails from Italy, and he currently sits at the top of the standings.
He won the Diriyah race and just dominated the entire weekend. He placed first in practice, group qualifying, won the pole, and crossed the finish line first on race day. However, the weekend’s second round in Diriyah did not go his way.
Jaguar racing’s Sam Bird bested Vries. Bird has won a race in every season that he has raced. He is also second on the all-time wins list for the series with ten. He won the inaugural race in Rome, but there have been countless changes made to the circuit.
This is any driver’s race in 2021-22. The reigning top finishers in the Italian capital are Mitch Evans of Jaguar and Andre Lotterer of Porsche. These two battled for 45 minutes, but Evans took home the top spot.
Based on early season dominance, my best bet is Vries. He has been the best driver in the sport this year, and that means something on a complex course like Rome.
I have read enough, I need to place my bet now. What to do?
