NASCAR Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner 300 Odds, Favorites and 2023 Betting Analysis

In NASCAR, things rarely stand still, as we have drivers moving on to different series each and every year. That is the case with the Xfinity Series in 2023, with AJ Allmendinger, Noah Gragson, and Ty Gibbs all moving on. These were all drivers who were among the best in the Xfinity Series over the past few seasons and while their absence will be felt, it also opens the door for other drivers to go after a championship. It’ll be a while before the champion is crowned, but the road to a title begins this Saturday at Daytona with the running of the Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner 300. Who will get the season off to a winning start? Let’s look at some of the NASCAR Xfinity Odds and most likely candidates.

NASCAR Xfinity Series Betting Preview for the 2023 Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner 300 Race

Where: Daytona International Speedway, Daytona Beach, Florida

Time: 5:00 PM EST
Streaming: FOX Live, YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV

Cole Custer

After 3 seasons racing in the Cup Series, where he had just 1 win, Custer is heading back to the Xfinity Series and will become an instant favorite to win it all this year. Prior to making the jump to the Cup Series, Custer had 3 full seasons at this level, finishing 2nd overall in 2 of them. That alone will have a lot of bettors jumping on the bandwagon and taking him to have a successful 2023 season. Custer didn’t have a ton of success at Daytona during his previous runs in the Xfinity Series, but might we see him get off to a fast start on his return?

Justin Allgaier

This is a driver that has been a mainstay in the Xfinity Series since 2009 and is one of the most consistent drivers at this level. He has never won a championship, but he has been close on several occasions. In fact, he has made it to the final four 7 different times, but he has always come up just a little short. I know there are a lot of fans who would love to see Allgaier finally get that Championship crown, but will this be the year he does it? He finished 5th in this corresponding race last season, so expect him to be in the leading pack.

Josh Berry

It was quite the debut season for Berry in the Xfinity Series last year, as he made it all the way to the final four. He came up short in the end, finishing 13th in the final race of the season to land in the #4 spot overall. Berry had 3 wins in his debut season, including one in the playoffs, but the feeling is that he will do even better this year. He was not a factor at Daytona last season, but given that was his first race at this level, he can perhaps be excused. Expect better from Berry this time around.

John Hunter Nemechek

During his time with NASCAR, Nemechek has bounced around a little, racing full-time in the Truck Series in 2022. This year, he will be turning his attention to the Xfinity Series once again. His last full season at this level came in 2019, when he finished 7th overall. He has a ton more experience under his belt now, so expect him to come in strong and be a factor in the race for a championship.
