It’s another busy weekend in MMA and you might need to get a little creative to be able to take in all the action. The big UFC event starts at 4 PM EST, after which you might be able to hop on over to Showtime and catch Bellator 276, which is set to start at 6 PM EST. In terms of the number of fights, the Bellator event is a little smaller than we are used to, with just 4 fights set to go on the main card. They are all well worth tuning into, though, so be ready for some action and hopefully some winning wagers. Let’s now take a moment to break down all the action for Bellator 276 so you can place your bets against the Bellator Betting Odds.
Bellator 276 Betting Preview | MMA Analysis
Jay Jay Wilson (+130) Vs Gadzhi Rabadanov (-150)
The evening begins with a good looking Middleweight bout featuring a fighter who looks destined for big things. Wilson has looked very good in the early part of his pro career, putting together 8 straight wins, which includes 7 victories in the early rounds. He will have his hands full with Rabadanov, who comes in with a 16-4-2 record and on the heels of a win in his first fight under the Bellator banner. I like this one to go all the way, with Wilson getting the decision win.
Johnny Eblen (-330) Vs John Salter (+265)
Next up is a Middleweight bout, and once again we have a fighter putting his unbeaten record on the line. That would be Eblen, who comes into this one with a 10-0 record, including 5 wins in a row with Bellator. Salter is 18-5-0 and looking to rebound after losing last time out, a defeat that snapped a 3-fight win streak. You do have to say that Salter looks a little overmatched here, so I would not be surprised to see him go down via KO.
Phil Davis (-305) Vs Julius Anglickas (+245)
The Light Heavyweights step into the octagon next, and once again, this has all the makings of a great fight. Davis is 23-6 overall and on a run that has seen him win 4 of his last 5 fights. This is a guy that frequently needs to go the distance to win. Anglickas is looking to bounce back from a loss after going on a run that had saw him win 9 in a row. He will certainly put up a fight, but I have to go with Davis for the decision win.
Adam Borics (+180) Vs Mads Burnell (-220)
Two very good Featherweight fighters step into the octagon for a Featherweight bout that serves as the main event of the night. Borics opened up his pro career with 14 straight wins before falling to his first defeat. He rebounded nicely, though, and comes into this one having won 3 straight fights. Burnell is 16-3 overall and is on a run that has seen him win 7 in a row. He has a habit of getting the job done quickly. I am taking Burnell to win by decision in what should be an entertaining bout.
