Bellator 277: McKee vs Pitbull 2 Betting Odds, Analysis & Picks

Fight fans have a lot to look forward to on Friday night, with 2 big events set to go. The LFA event starts at 9 PM EST, which should allow time to watch the 4-fight main card that Bellator has in store, starting at 7 PM EST on Friday night. You might look at a 4-fight card as being a little lacking, but with a pair of championship bouts included in the mix, there is a lot to look forward to. In fact, all 4 fights hold the promise of something special, so let’s take a moment to dig a little deeper into all of them, with Bellator Odds and predictions for each.

Bellator 277 Betting Preview | MMA Analysis

Tim Johnson (+115) Vs Linton Vassell (-135)

The main card begins with what has the potential to be a bruising Heavyweight battle between a pair of fighters heading in very different directions. Johnson comes into this one looking to stop the rot after losing each of his last 2 fights and falling to 15-8 in the process. Vassell is in the midst of recovering from a losing slump and has won 3 in a row ahead of this fight to take his record to 22-8. A good fight that should go the distance, with Vassell getting the nod.

Aaron Pico (-990) Vs Adli Edwards (+695)

Next up we have a Featherweight bout that has the potential to be over rather quickly, but there is always the potential for an upset. Pico comes into this fight with a 9-3 record and on a run that has seen him win 5 in a row. Edwards has an impressive 9-1 record as a pro, but this is his first fight under the Bellator banner, and it represents a big step up in class. It may be a bridge too far for Edwards and I have Pico with the KO win.

Vadim Nemkov (-160) Vs Corey Anderson (+135)

The co-main event of the night looks like an absolute beauty, with these fighters set to duke it out for the Light Heavyweight Tournament Championship. Nemkov is in as the favorite after winning each of his last 9 fights, 7 of which came under the Bellator banner. He is in for a tough one, though, as Anderson is definitely no slouch. He has won 7 of his last 8 and sits at 16-5 overall. This could be the fight of the night, and I like Nemkov for the KO win.

AJ McKee (-320) Vs Patricio Pitbull (+260)

The headline event of the night is a rematch for the Bellator Featherweight Championship, and we all hope that it lasts a little bit longer than the previous meeting. It was McKee who won that won to retain his title, getting the submission over Pitbull in the opening round to remain unbeaten at 15-0. Pitbull brings in a ton of experience though, going 32-5 in his pro career. I like this one to last longer, but I still expect the same outcome at the end of the night.
