It can be a little tougher to predict these title matches, as the fighters very often tend to be pretty evenly matched, but we are going to do our best to make some predictions that we hope will put a little extra money in your pocket. With all that said, let’s get to the previews, picks and predictions for Bellator 301.

Patricky Pitbull Vs Alexander Shabliy

We get the main card started with a Lightweight Tournament Semi-Final that appears to be a little lopsided. The Pitbull is 25-11 overall, but he has not been in great form of late, winning just 2 of his last 5 fights. Compare that to Shabliy, who is 23-3 overall and on a run that has seen him win 8 in a row, which includes a perfect 4-0 record with Bellator. I have Shabliy winning this one by KO.

AJ McKee Jr. Vs Sidney Outlaw

We have another Lightweight bout up next, with this one more likely to be a competitive bout. McKee comes into this fight with a record of 20-1, bouncing back nicely from his first career loss to win 2 in a row ahead of this bout. Outlaw is a respectable 17-5 overall, but he has had a couple of losses over his last 5 fights, which could be a problem here. A good chance this one goes all the way, with McKee getting the nod.

Raufeon Stots Vs Danny Sabatello

You only need to look at the odds here to see that this Bantamweight bout really could go either way. Stots is coming off a loss that dropped him to 19-2 overall, with that defeat coming right after he beat Sabatello in their previous meeting. Sabatello is 14-3 overall and on a run that has seen him lose 2 of his last 3, so this is almost a must win for him. I think we get another tight one here, with Stots edging it.

Sergio Pettis Vs Patchy Mix

The co-main event of the evening is a Bantamweight title fight, with Pettis in as the defending champion. After spending time in the UFC, Pettis has taken Bellator by storm, winning all 5 of his fights to become champ. Mix is an impressive 18-1 (7-1) with Bellator and is the Interim Champion, so this is a big one. This should be a great fight, but I am leaning toward Mix with the submission win.

Yaroslav Amosov Vs Jason Jackson

We close the night out with a Welterweight Championship battle that sees Amosov in to defend his title. He has been nothing short of brilliant as a pro, winning all 27 of his fights to this point in his career. As you can see, the task here for Jackson is huge, He has an overall record of 16-4 and comes into this one having won each of his last 6 fights. I think Jackson might make it tough for the champ, but I still think Asomov gets the decision win.
