It is a busy weekend in the world of MMA, but perhaps none busier than Cage Warriors, who have 2 events coming on Friday and Saturday. There is a lot of action to cover here, as both events have a pair of title fights sitting at the top of the main card. We will cover those fights and one more from each of the events so you can bet against the Cage Warriors odds. There is a lot to cover here, so let’s get right into it.
MMA Betting Preview for Cage Warriors 131 & 132
Cage Warriors 131 Betting Preview
- Justin Moore Vs Christian Leroy Duncan
Right before the top two fights on the card, we have a Middleweight bout that could potentially be over rather quickly. Moore comes in with a 10-5 career mark and has gone 3-2 in his last 5 fights. He will have another tough test here, as Duncan is a perfect 4-0 to start his career. This looks like another win for him, and I like Duncan to get the KO win quickly.
- George Hardwick Vs Medhi Ben Lakhdhar
The co-main event of the night is for the vacant Lightweight bout. Hardwick is sitting at 8-1 in his pro career and is on a run that has seen him win each of his last 4 fights. Lakhdhar is currently unbeaten and is 5-0-1 in his career. These two are very evenly matched, but I like Hardwick to come away with the win via submission.
- Matthew Bonner Vs Djati Melan
It’s another title fight to close out the first of the two events, with Matthew Bonner looking to retain his Middleweight title. Bonner is 10-6-1 overall and is on a run that has seen him win each of his last 4 fights, with 3 of them ending inside the distance. Melan is looking to maintain his unbeaten record, which sits at 7-0-0. I think we might see a new champion at the end of the night.
Cage Warriors 132 Betting Preview
- Jamie Richardson Vs Leonardo Damiani
Before we get to the big fights on the night, we have a solid Welterweight bout lined up. Richardson broke out of a 2-fight losing skid with a win in his last bout, which took him to 10-7-0 overall. Damiani is looking to bounce back after a loss last time out, taking him to 10-3-1. I like Damiani to get that win, although he may need to go the distance to get it.
- Sam Creasey Vs Luke Shanks
The co-main event of the night is for the Flyweight Championship, with Creasey looking to hold on to his belt. Creasey is 15-3-0 overall and comes into this one on a 4-fight wins streak, 2 of which went the distance. Shanks is getting his shot despite not being in the best form and losing 2 of his last 3 fights to fall to 8-3. I think Creasey remains the champion here.
- Dominique Wooding Vs Carlos Abreu
The final fight of the night is for the Bantamweight Championship, with Wooding looking to defend his title. Wooding is sitting at 8-4-0 and is back to his best, winning 2 in a row after dropping a pair of fights. Abreu has gone a very solid 9-3-0 in his career and is the winner of 4 if his last 5 fights. I like Wooding to retain the belt with a KO win.
