Cage Warriors 142: Creasey Vs Brcic Betting Analysis & MMA Picks

There are some MMA fans who love to see a jam-packed main card with a ton of fights, while others will gladly settle for a smaller card that has nothing but quality matchups from top to bottom. If you are in the latter camp, then you are going to want to tune into Cage Warriors 142 on Saturday morning. There are just 4 fights on this card, but they are all of the highest quality, including a title fight as the headliner. This one has an early start, with the main card set to go at 10 AM EST on Saturday morning. It will be available to those of you who subscribe to UFC Fight Pass and will serve as the perfect start to what is a busy weekend of MMA action. Let’s now dig a little deeper into the 4 fights on the main card to see if we can help you pocket some extra money if you bet against the Cage Warriors Odds.

MMA Betting Preview for Cage Warriors 142

Josh Reed Vs Bogdan Barbu

We get the evening rolling with a Bantamweight bout, and you have to say that both of these fighters are in dire need of a win. Reed comes in with a 12-7 record, but he has just 2 wins in his last 5 fights, with 5 of his last 7 failing to go beyond Round 2. Barbu is equally all over the place, coming into this bout with a 17-13 record and 3 losses in his last 4 fights. Despite how inconsistent both men have been, I think it will be Reed who get the submission win.

Aaron Aby Vs Michelangelo Lupoli

We have a pair of in-form Flyweights stepping into the octagon for the second fight on the main card. Aby is a very respectable 13-4-1 and has won 3 of his last 4 fights. More often than not, though, he is forced to go the distance. Lupoli comes in with a 5-2 record and has won 2 in a row ahead of this one. Like his opponent, he has a habit of going the distance in his fights. No surprise that I think this one goes all the way, with Aby getting the nod.

Matthew Bonner Vs Oban Elliott

Next up is the co-main event of the night, which is a Welterweight bout that looks to be a good one. Bonner has been a little up and down in his pro career, going 12-7-1 to this point. He has been solid of late, though, winning 4 of his last 5 fights. Elliott is 5-2 overall, but both of those losses have come recently, with Elliott going 2-2 in his last 4. I think this is Bonner’s for the taking and I like him to get the job done early.

Sam Creasey Vs Stipe Brcic

We close the night out with a fight for the Cage Warriors Flyweight Championship, with Creasey coming in as the current champion. Creasey is 15-4, but he is actually coming into this one on the heels of a loss, although it was not for the belt. Brcic is an impressive 10-2 as a pro and has won 5 of his last 6 fights, so he has certainly earned his shot at the belt. This is a bit of a coin flip given how evenly matched these guys are, but I like Creasey to edge it.
