ESL Pro League Season 19 in April of 2024

Relegation Tournament

Over the past year, Rocket, Bad News Bears, and Reason Gaming struggled throughout the season, spending the entire year at the bottom of the standings. Rocket would end the season in 12th with a 4-10 record, Bad News Bears in 13th going 3-11, and Reason Gaming ended 14th after going 2-12. Lucky for them, they didn’t finish last as kariESPORTS, who finished 15th going 1-13, has been automatically demoted and won’t get to compete in the ESL North American Challenger League next year.

Rocket, Bad News Bears, and Reason Gaming will all have a shot to earn the right to keep their spot in the Challenger League at the Relegation tournament, which is this weekend. They will be facing some of the top teams from the ESEA Season 47 Advanced Division: North America, who are still finishing up their tournament to determine who will get a shot at being promoted to the Challenger League.

ESL Pro League Season 19

By finishing in the Top 2 of the ESL Challenger League Season 46: North America, M80 and BOSS earned the right to compete in the ESL Pro League Season 19, which will run from late April to early May in 2024. They will be going up against some of the best teams in the world.

M80 will hope to find more success at the ESL Pro League Season 19 than they did back in September when they were eliminated from the ESL Pro League Season 18 in 19th-32nd place. At the Thunderpick World Championship, they also saw an early exit placing 13th-16th. They hope to find better results at the next ESL Pro League; however, just the experience of competing against the top teams in the world is truly invaluable when you have to earn your spot on the big stage consistently.
