League of Legends continues to be an extremely popular esports title, and there have been some major events that have already taken place this year. While teams from all over the country will eventually meet up to battle it out, there are some great regional events as well.
The LPLOL Split 1 2024 Grand Final is set to take place, and it will be a matchup of two teams that have been playing well. This matchup will feature EGN Esports taking on GTZ Esports, and these were the top two seeds during the regular season action.
Here is a look at the LPLOL betting lines for the Split 1 2024 Grand Final with EGN Esports and GTZ Esports battling it out for LoL glory.

EGN A Big Favorite
When it comes to the final matchup of any event, it’s very rare that a big favorite emerges. That’s the situation that we see in this battle though as EGN Esports looks like a team that is ready to dominate this action and go on a big run.
EGN is coming into this event at -500 on the moneyline and there is a reason that they are such big favorites. This team already beat GTZ ESports 3:1 earlier in this tournament, and they looked extremely dominant in that matchup.
There is another opportunity to bet on EGN Esports in this event by taking them at -1.5 when looking at the spread. That will come with a much better potential odds of -129, or you can take GTZ Esports at +1.5 at +129 odds.
This matchup is going to be a best of five as there will be five maps available to the two teams. When looking to bet the over/under, that betting line is currently set at 3.5, and those are the lines that you typically see.
A Look Back
There were just four teams with a realistic chance to win this event, and it was EGN and GTZ that met up in the top bracket semifinal. After GTZ was forced down into the lower bracket after a loss, they had to await a winner.
SAW picked up a 3-0 win over Hurricane of Feathers in the lower bracket semifinal, and that matched them up against GTZ for a chance to get back to the championship match. GTZ was able to win that game by a count of 3:2, but it wasn’t easy for them to get that done.
EGN Rolls to Win
You should always be looking for value when betting on esports events, but there are some instances in which that just simply won’t happen. That’s going to be the case here as it would be a big mistake to bet on GTZ Esports in this matchup.
Taking the spread at -1.5 is one of the best options to explore in this matchup as EGN Esports will come away with another dominant win. Another great option is taking the under 3.5 maps as this one will be over early.

League of Legends continues to be one of the most popular games when it comes to esports, and it’s not just popular with the players. There are also some great ways to wager on the sport, and this week has some interesting options to check out.
The LPLOL event is taking place internationally, and there are a number of teams that will be in action. This is going to be the fifth week of group-stage action, and betting on some of the key matchups is going to lead to some big wins.
Here is a look at some of those LPLOL Split 1 betting matchups that really stand out,and how you should be betting on those events.

KeyPulse ESports vs. Bwe ESports
The first matchup of the day on Thursday might be the best one of them all to check out, at least when looking at the betting odds. This game will feature KeyPulse ESports taking on Bwe ESports and this is one that could really go either way.
KeyPulse ESports is the current betting favorite in this matchup at -125, but there is some value in simply betting on them on the moneyline. Going with Bwe ESports is going to be another solid option as those odds are at -105.
Most LOL matchups tend to get spread out at some point or another, but it’s hard to see that happening on Thursday. If you are going to be making a bet on this game, it’s best to simply go with the team that you feel will have an advantage.
Bet on KeyPulse Esports at -125 as they will put together the best overall performance.
Chance For an Upset
There is another matchup early in the day that will be worth checking out as EGN Esports will be taking on team Saw. You should always look for value when betting on any esports matchup, and there is a great opportunity in this one.
EGN Esports is coming into this battle as the favorite at -185, but that’s now where the focus should be in this matchup. Saw is a team that has proven that it can come away with a big win, and they have valuable odds set at +128.
There won’t be many upsets that take place throughout the day on Thursday, but this is going to be one of them. Bet on the underdogs in this matchup as it will be a terrific battle.
LPLOL Split 1 2024 Week 5: Interesting Saturday Showdown
While a majority of the Week 5 action is going to take place on Thursday, there will also be some battles on Saturday. One of the best to check out is a matchup between Odivelas Sports Club (-149) and the White Dragons (+103).
Even though there is technically and underdog and a favorite in this game, the odds suggest that these teams are evenly matched. It’s hard to see any of these teams coming away with a win, but going with the White Dragons at +103 is a great option to explore on Saturday afternoon.

eSports Events for the Weekend: Top League of Legends Matches
Friday, Jan. 29th Games
Royal Never Give Up +140 / Team We +204
Royal Never Give Up has won 5 straight. The slight chalk on the board has won 7-of-8. Team We is on fire as well, though. The underdog has also taken 5 straight. The squad with the better odds entices.
eSports Free Pick: Team We
Lng Esports -256 / Estar Gaming +170
Lng has won 4-of-5 while Estar has lost 2 straight. If you’re looking to back the underdogs, know that Estar’s 2 losses were against Invictus and FunPlus, a couple of excellent League of Legends teams. Lng should win but they’re an underlay at -256.
eSports Free Pick: Estar Gaming
Saturday, Jan. 30th Games
FunPlus Phoenix -188 / Invictus Gaming +127
FunPlus versus Invictus may be the best eSports match this weekend. FunPlus has won 3 in a row. Invictus has won 2 in a row. In the last head-to-head, Invictus beat FunPlus 3-2. We’ll back Invictus to make it two in a row versus their rivals.
eSports Free Pick: Invictus
All Knights -147 / Rainbow7 +102
This is Rainbow7’s first throw down since a loss to LGD at the World Championships in September. They’re a quality squad as evidenced by the odds versus All Knights. These two squads are more evenly matched than the odds indicate. That encourages us to back Rainbow7.
eSports Free Pick: Rainbow7
Xten Esports +167 / Infinity Esports -250
Xten hasn’t played since the LLA Closing in August 2020. Neither has Infinity. But as it currently stands, Infinity is a much stronger squad than Xten. We’ll lay the odds in the hopes the chalk prevails.
eSports Free Pick: Infinity Esports
Isurus Gaming -175 / Furious Gaming +120
Isurus has a slight advantage over Furious. It’s not enough of an advantage for us to back the favorites against a quality squad offering odds. Furious is the play.
eSports Free Pick: Furious
Sunday, Jan. 31st Games
JD Gaming +167 / Top eSports -250
JD heads into this off a 2-0 victory against Rare Atom. On Sunday, they face a strong team in Top eSports. Still, the odds difference almost forces us to go with the underdogs. Top’s odds aren’t fair.
eSports Free Pick: JD Gaming
Rogue Warriors +279 / Rare Atom -476
Neither squad inspires a ton of confidence. The Warriors, though, have lost 4 straight. Rare Atom has lost 2 straight. There’s a good chance Atom rolls. But, once again, the odds push us towards the dog.
eSports Free Pick: Rogue Warriors
Isurus Gaming -106 / Infinity Esports -135
You can throw a dart when Isurus takes on Infinity. Or you can back the team offering the better odds. We’re taking the second approach. Isurus is good enough to beat Infinity.
eSports Free Pick: Isurus Gaming
Furious Gaming +190 / Rainbow7 -294
It’s tough to look past Rainbow7. When they’re on top of their game there are few teams that can beat the strong squad from Mexico. Furious is good enough to keep this close. They shouldn’t be good enough to beat the Rainbows.
eSports Free Pick: Rainbow7
