League of Legends  – NA Academy 2019 Spring

Thursday, March 7

  • OpTic vs CLG

With a 5-0-7 record in the North American Academy, OpTic isn’t yet out of the race. In fact, they’re in fifth place. The good news for OpTic is that they head into the week in great form, having won 3-of-4 matches. The only loss happened to NA Academy leading Team Liquid.

Like OpTic, Counter Logic Gaming (CLG), has a 5-7 record. Unlike OpTic, CLG is on a downturn, having lost 4of-5. That should be the difference here. OpTic’s finally hit their stride while CLG is off of theirs.

eSports Betting Pick: OpTic

  • FlyQuest vs 100 Thieves

FlyQuest, like so many in the League of Legends North American Academy, has a 5-0-7 record. They’ve also lost 4 straight, including their last couple of matches to CLG and OpTic. Although not playing well, FlyQuest has the upper hand on 100 Thieves in this.

100 Thieves are 1-5 on the moneyline in their last 6 matchups. The only team they beat was CLG. FlyQuest should hand another loss to 100 Thieves, sending them to 4-9 in the NA Academy.

eSports Betting Pick: FlyQuest

Friday, March 8

  • Cloud9 vs OpTic

Since starting the North American 2019 Spring 2-2, Cloud9’s dominated. They’ve run roughshod over their opponents, winning 8 in a row. They beat OpTic during the win streak.

But, OpTic could turn the tables in this matchup. They’ve hit their stride. Also, the odds in this one should be out of control with Cloud9 being grossly overplayed. It’s worth taking a shot on a team like OpTic to get the job done as a massive dog.

eSports Betting Pick: OpTic

  • Team Liquid vs FlyQuest

FlyeQuest might beat 100 Thieves on Thursday, but it’s hard to see them taking down Team Liquid on Friday. Team Liquid has been great in the NA Academy 2019 Spring, going an awesome 11-0-1.

The lone loss? To Team Solomid in a weird game. Liquid shouldn’t falter versus FlyQuest, a squad they crushed on Feb 9. Liquid gets the nod to win yet another match.

eSports Betting Pick: Team Liquid
