FaZe Clan and 9z Team last met back in April 2023, during Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2023, when FaZe won 16-3, and there’s little to suggest that this match will end any differently.
Admittedly, FaZe are in bad form, having struggled to accomplish much at IEM Cologne 2023 and Gamers8 2023; however, they’re still a world-class team. 9z Team are not.
9z Team looked good before the summer break, when they won KaBuM! Legends and CCT South America Series #8. However, since the turn of August, they exited TG Masters Fall 2023 and CCT North Europe Series #7 in 7th-8th and 9th-16th place. Like FaZe, 9z Team have suffered early exits from their last two tournaments, albeit they competed in much weaker events.
With the form they’re in, it wouldn’t be the most shocking thing to see FaZe lose against a heavy underdog. But expecting them to slip against 9z is a bit too optimistic.

Fnatic and Imperial enter ESL Pro League Season 18 rusty and in bad shape, which promises an interesting game. Fnatic are priced as favorites, which is expected considering they have a higher ceiling, but Fnatic have not looked good recently.
With defeats against Sprout and ALTERNATE aTTaX, Fnatic truly seem like they’re completely out of shape, and if they can’t beat two lesser teams, then they likely won’t do well against Imperial either.
Imperial haven’t looked amazing recently either, but their performances are hardly worse than Fnatic’s. This is a 50/50 match.

5yclone are +800 underdogs against Natus Vincere, and that is more than fair. 5yclone are a Chinese team that, even though have shown good form recently, are still a class below NaVi in all elements of the game.
It’s worth noting that NaVi have not looked like themselves since they transitioned to an international roster, but a struggling S-Tier team is still miles ahead of a good team from a weaker region. NaVi can’t afford to lose this game, and something will have to go terribly wrong for it to happen.
