After a brief break for the holiday season, the MMA calendar is once again loaded with a ton of great events. We have a big one set to go on Saturday night, with LFA 151 delivering a ton of great action, which includes a title fight and a tournament championship bout at the top of the main card. All told, there are 6 fights on that main card, with the action set to begin at 8 PM EST. If you are subscribed to UFC Fight Pass, you can catch it all on there. Let’s dive into all 6 fights and make some LFA Betting predictions.
MMA Betting Preview and Picks for LFA 151: Delano vs Santos Main Card
Marco Tulio Silva Vs Well Oliveira
The evening begins with a Middleweight bout and a pair of fighters at the opposite end of the experience scale. Silva has made a solid start to life as a pro, going 7-1 and winning each of his last 4 fights. Oliveira is 35-19-1 and has won his last 3 after losing 2 in a row. This feels like a fight designed to get Silva more experience against tougher opposition and I like him to get the job done via KO.
Marciano Ferreira Vs Mateus Brauns
Next up is a Flyweight bout, with both of these fighters sitting on very similar records and runs of form. Ferreira is 8-3 overall and comes into this one having won 2 in a row and 4 of his last 5. It is basically the same for Brauns, although he does have a slightly better overall record at 8-1. This should be a good one, but I think it will be Brauns who gets the nod.
Jonas Bilharinho Vs Caio Machado
It is the Featherweights stepping into the octagon for the next bout. Bilharinho is 10-2-1 overall, and while that is certainly a decent record, it is worth noting that both of his losses came in the last 5 fights. Machado has won 4 of his last 5 overall to move to 16-7 overall, but I think he could be in trouble here. I like Bilharinho to come away with the KO win.
Milson Castro Vs Anderson Ferreira
Another good one here, with both fighters ranked in the top 25 in Brazil. Castro is slightly lower ranked, but he is very much on the rise and comes into this one on the heels of 13 straight wins. Ferreira is 16-3 overall, but he has been sloppy of late, going just 3-3 in his last 6 fights. I think we might see this one go the distance, with Castro getting the nod.
Julia Polastri Vs Brenda Gottig
The co-main event of the night is for the Vacant Strawweight Championship, with both women coming in on a great run of form. Polastri is 10-3 overall and is the winner of 8 of her last 9 fights. Gottig is a perfect 6-0 and has win 5 of her 6 fights inside the opening 2 rounds. This is another one I like to go the distance, with Polastri getting the win.
Jose Delano Vs Gabriel Santos
We close the night out with the Featherweight Tournament Championship, and it should be a great one. Delano comes in at 12-2, but he is on an amazing run, winning each of his last 11 fights. On the flipside, Santos is a perfect 9-0 and had reached that point rather comfortably. This one looks set to go the distance, with Delano getting the win.
I have read enough, I need to place my bet now. What to do?
