The Toronto Blue Jays have signed free-agent outfielder George Springer agree to six-year, $150M deal. The new deal makes the power-hitting former Houston Astros star the highest paid Blue Jay in franchise history, surpassing Vernon Wells’ seven-year, $126-million extension.

The Blue Jays are reportedly looking to sign veteran outfielder Michael Brantley, who, ironically, is represented by the same agency as George Springer.

Kansas City announced Wednesday that they’ve signed veteran right-hander Wade Davis to a minor league contract.
