While the UFC certainly rules the MMA roost, there are several other organizations that deliver quality events on the regular basis. Cage Warriors has to be included in that mix, and if you haven’t watched what they are doing yet, you can get started by taking in CW 134 on Friday night, starting at 10 PM EST. We have 6 fights set to go on the main card, and while there are no title fights in there, we still have some very solid bouts to look forward to. Let’s break down all 6 fights, with predictions for each so you can get all set to make your bets against the Cage Warriors Odds.
MMA Betting Preview for Cage Warriors 143
Damon Wilson Vs James Settle
We get the evening started with a Catchweight bout that could potentially be over rather quickly. Wilson is a perfect 4-0 as a pro and has won his last 3 fights without going beyond Round 2. Settle has been up and down as a pro, going 3-2 and coming into this one on the heels of a loss. I think he loses again by KO in this one.
John De Jesus Vs Brandon Laroco
Next up is a Featherweight bout between a pair of fighters in dire need of a win. De Jesus has been totally unpredictable in his career, going 14-10 overall and losing 2 of his last 3. It’s a similar story for Laroco, who has also lost 2 of his last 3 to fall to 6-3 overall. I like this one to go the distance, with De Jesus getting the nod.
Jordan Bailey Vs JJ Ambrose
This Lightweight bout delivers an experience gap that might just prove to be the difference. Bailey is 7-5 overall, and while he is coming off a win, he has lost 3 of his last 5. Ambrose is 35-9 and has a ton of experience under his belt, as well as being in form, with wins in 4 of his last 5. I like Ambrose for the submission win.
Jeffrey Craig Vs Chasen Blair
We have a couple of inexperienced young Welterweight fighters going head-to-head in what should be a fun bout to watch, Craig has won his first 2 fights as a pro, both with the LFA. Blair is also 2-0, with both his wins coming quickly with Cage Warriors. I am on Blair to keep things rolling with the KO win.
Elijah Harris Vs Trey Williams
The penultimate fight of the night is a Light Heavyweight bout between a pair of fighters in need of a win. Harris went 3-0 before taking his first career loss, bouncing back from that defeat with a win. Williams has now lost 2 of his last 3 fights to fall to 5-3 overall. I like Harris to get another win, although he made need to go the distance to get it.
Erick Sanchez Vs James Lynch
The main event of the night is a Flyweight bout that has the potential to deliver some fireworks. Sanchez is going through a rough patch right now, losing 3 of his last 5 to fall to 10-6 overall. Lynch is 5-2 and comes into this bout on the heels of back-to-back wins. I think Lynch makes it 3 in a row with the win in this one.
I have read enough, I need to place my bet now. What to do?
