Tuesday is almost upon us, which means it’s time for the next night of action in Dana White’s Contender Series. This will represent Week 4 of the competition, and we have 5 fights set to go on the main card. The 10 fighters stepping into the octagon on Tuesday night will be hoping to impress so that they might get a shot at the UFC, which is the entire purpose of this whole competition. Nothing is guaranteed, but a strong showing might just put a couple of these fighters on the radar of Dana White and the UFC brass. The action is set to begin at 8 PM EST and can be caught on ESPN+. Let’s take a look at the main card to see if we can pick out some winners so you don’t miss your chance to bet against their MMA odds.
MMA Betting Picks and Preview for Dana White’s Contender Series: Season 6, Week 4
Nazim Sadykhov Vs Ahmad Suhail Hassanzada
The evening begins with a Lightweight bout and a pair of fighters who are putting together solid pro careers. Sadykhov started life as a pro by losing his first fight, but it has been all uphill since then, as he his now on a 6-fight win streak. Hassanzada has been very good as a pro, going 9-1 overall and coming into this one having won each of his last 4 bouts. A great fight to start the night, with the slight edge going to Sadykhov.
Hailey Cowan Vs Claudia Leite
We have the women up next for a Bantamweight bout that also looks to be very evenly matched. Cowan is 6-2, and after losing in the LFA, she jumped to Invicta FC to get the win in her last bout. Leite is 7-2 overall and comes into this bout on a very decent run of form, winning each of her last 4 fights. This is one that I like to go all the way, and I believe it will be Cowan who gets the decision.
Jack Cartwright Vs Jose Johnson
We have a Bantamweight bout set to go next, with one of these fighters looking to maintain his unbeaten record. That would be Cartwright, who comes into this bout sitting at a perfect 10-0, with the majority of those wins coming inside the distance. Johnson is the more experienced of the 2 fighters, coming into this one at 14-7 and a run that has seen him win 3 of his last 4. I think Cartwright keeps things rolling with the KO win.
Claudio Ribeiro Vs Ivan Valenzuela
We have an intriguing Middleweight bout up next on the main card, with both fighters in this one coming in hot. Ribeiro is 9-2 and after making a bit of a wobbly start to his pro career, he has put things together and is now the winner of 5 straight. Valenzuela is an impressive 9-1 as a pro, and like his opponent, he is also on a 5-fight win streak. I believe, though, that it will be Valenzuela who comes away with the KO win.
Thomas Paull Vs Esteban Ribovics
We close things out with the main event of the night, which is a Lightweight bout between two very good fighters. Paull comes into this one with an 11-3 record and a run of 3 straight wins, all of which came inside the distance. As good as he has been, he will have his hands full with Ribovics, who is sitting with a perfect 10-0 record and a habit of getting the job done quickly. I think Ribovics does that again here with the KO win.
I have read enough, I need to place my bet now. What to do?
