2022 Dana White’s Contender Series Week 5 Betting Analysis and MMA Picks

We are used to seeing the bigger fight nights take place over the weekend, but when Dana White’s Contender Series is in session, we get MMA action to look forward to on Tuesday nights. We will reach the midway point of the 2022 version of this event this week and will have 5 fights on the main card to look forward to. If you don’t know anything about this series, be aware that while White’s name is attached, it is not affiliated with the UFC, although the top performers during the season might just find their way to the organization sometime in the future. Now that we are all caught up, let’s get to the previews and predictions so you can get ready to bet against the MMA odds.

MMA Betting Picks and Preview for Dana White’s Contender Series: Season 6, Week 5

Denise Gomes Vs Rayanne Amanda

The ladies will be the first to step into the octagon for a Strawweight bout that looks to be a good one. Gomes saw her pro career start with a loss, but she has bounced back very nicely and comes into this bout having won each of her last 5 fights. At 11-5, Amanda is the more experienced of the 2 fighters and is in good form, having won 4 in a row. I like Gomes to keep her win streak alive, although she may need to go the distance to do it.

Josh Wang-Kim Vs Cameron Saaiman

Next up we have a Bantamweight bout, with both fighters combining for just 1 loss in their pro careers. Wang-Kim won his first 4 before taking a loss, but he bounced back nicely with a win last time out. Saaiman has been perfect to start his career, winning each of his first 5 fights, with 4 of those victories coming inside the distance. This one could go either way, but I am taking Wang-Kim for the win.

Erisson Ferreira Vs Jesus Santos Aguilar

We have a pair of Flyweights stepping into the octagon next for what looks to be a very evenly matched bout. Ferreira has a very impressive 11-1 record as a pro and comes into this fight on a run of 5 straight wins. Aguilar started life as a pro with a loss, but he has bounced back in a big way and has won 7 in a row ahead of this fight. Bit of a coin flip with this one, but I am taking Aguilar to win by decision.

Amiran Gogogladze Vs Darrius Flowers

The penultimate fight of the night is a Welterweight bout between a pair of fighters who have a decent amount of experience. Gogoladze comes into this one with a 14-2 career mark and is the winner of 3 in a row and 4 of his last 5. Flowers also has a decent record at 11-5-1 and has also won 4 of his last 5 fights. This one could well be explosive, and I like Gogoladze to get the win via KO.

Eduardo Neves Vs Michael Parkin

We close the night out with a pair of Heavyweights, both of whom come into this one with unbeaten records. Neves is 5-0 and has never had to go the distance to get the win in any of his bouts, winning the last 3 in Round 1. Parkin is also 5-0, and like his opponent, he has made a habit of getting the job done quickly. I don’t see any way this one goes the distance and I am on Neves for the KO win.
