You don’t need to stay up late to catch some great MMA action on Saturday, as KSW 78 is set to begin at 1 PM EST. You can catch all the action on internet PPV, and it’s well worth tuning into, as there are 7 big fights on the main card. That is an awful lot of action to cover, so let’s jump right in and preview the fights, with MMA odds and predictions for each.
MMA Betting Preview and Picks for KSW 78: Materla vs. Grove 2 Main Card
Lukasz Rajewski Vs Sahil Siraj
We get the main card rolling with a Lightweight bout that looks to be evenly matched despite the current form of both fighters. Rajewski is 11-8 overall, but he is also on a run that has seen him lose his last 2 fights. On the flipside, Siraj has only lost 1 pro fight, going 7-1 overall. I like Siraj to continue winning, closing this one out with a KO.
Lukasz Sudolski Vs Kleber Silva
Next up is a Light Heavyweight bout that promises to be a good one. Sudolski went 8-0 to start his pro career before taking his first loss. He has since bounced back with 2 straight wins. Silva is 20-11 overall, but he has been up and down of late, going 2-2 in his last 4. I like Sudolski to get this one over with quickly.
Roman Szymanski Vs Raul Tutarauli
We have a pair of Lightweights stepping into the octagon next for what looks to be one of the best fights on the card. Szymanski is 16-6 overall and comes in on a 3-fight win streak. He is going to have his hands full with Tutarauli, who has won 5 in a row to get to 31-6. I have Tutarauli winning this one by decision.
Rafal Kijanczuk Vs Marc Doussis
It’s another Light Heavyweight bout up next, with Kijanczuk coming into this one looking to bounce back from a loss last time out. That defeat dropped him to 11-5 overall. Doussis is 801, winning last time out to recover from his lone defeat. This one looks like a coin flip to me, but I’m giving the slight edge to Doussis with the KO.
Borys Mankowski Vs Valeriu Mircea
Two experience Lightweights are up next, and both could really use a win at this point. Mankowski is 22-10-1, and as good as he has been, he has lost each of his last 2 fights. Mircea is 27-8-1, but he has been on a bit of a rough trip of late, losing 3 of his last 5 fights. I like this one to go the distance, with Mankowski getting the win.
Tomasz Romanowski Vs Radoslaw Paczuski
The co-main event of the night is a Middleweight bout that looks to be a good one. Romanowski comes in at 17-8 overall and is on a run that has seen him win 4 in a row. Paczuski is still relatively new to the pro fight game, but he has started strong at 5-0. This looks like a brawl, and I like Paczuski to get the KO win.
Michal Materla Vs Kendall Grove
We close the night out with a rematch that is 9 years in the making. These two last fought in 2013 with Materla getting the win. He is now 31-8 overall and looking to bounce back from a loss. Grove is 24-18, and while he won his last fight, that win snapped a 3-fight losing streak. I like Materla to win the rematch with the KO.
I have read enough, I need to place my bet now. What to do?
