Fight fans are going to have a decision to make on Friday night, as we have a pair of events going off at around the same time. We have already covered the Cage Warriors event, but now we are turning our attention to LFA 134, with is set to begin on Friday night at 9 PM EST. There are 7 fights on the main card, so let’s try and break down all those fights, with LFA Betting Odds and predictions for each.
MMA Betting Preview for LFA 134: Gafurov Vs Sousa
Shane Sobnosky (+400) Vs Jared McLoughlin (-500)
We get the main card started with a Middleweight bout between a pair of fighters in good form. Sobnosky was sitting at 2-2 to start his career, but a pair of wins now have him moving in the right direction. McLoughlin is tough, though, and comes into this one on a 4-fight win streak that took him to 6-2. I like McLoughlin for the submission win.
Alden Coria (-360) Vs Joseph Camacho (+285)
Next up is a Flyweight bout featuring a pair of fighters with just 1 career loss between them. Coria got his pro career off to a great start, winning 5 in a row before losing last time out. He will face Camacho, who comes into this bout having won all 3 of his pro fights. A tough one for Coria, but I think he bounces back with the win.
Jakori Savage (-345) Vs Taylor Escamilla (+270)
The big boys are up next for a Heavyweight bout that we don’t really have too much to go on. Savage won his first pro fight under the LFA banner, winning in convincing fashion in the opening round. Escamilla won his lone pro fight in similar style, but this is a bit of a step up in class for him. For that reason, I have Savage for the win.
Joel Guzman (+155) Vs Tanner Marlow (-190)
We have a Light Heavyweight bout up next, with both fighters putting their unbeaten records on the line. Guzman is 2-0 and is coming off an impressive Roun1 win last time out as he moves up to the LFA. Marlow is a perfect 3-0 and has never had to go beyond the 2nd round in any of those wins. I expect more of the same from him here.
Kevin Fernandez (-450) Vs Jordan Harris (+325)
We have a similar situation to the last fight coming with this Flyweight bout, with both fighters coming in unbeaten. Fernandez is 3-0 in the early part of his pro career and is coming off a unanimous win in his first fight with the LFA. Harris is 2-0 and has looked good early on, but this one is a bit of a step up in class, which is why I like Fernandez to win.
Milko Tucto (+300) Vs Olivier Murad (-400)
This Featherweight bout serves as the co-main event of the night and looks like a bout put together to help Murad keep moving up the rankings. He is a perfect 6-0 coming into this one, although it will be his first fight with the LFA. Murad is 5-3, but his 3 losses have come in his last 4 fights, including each of his last 2. I think Murad keeps his unbeaten streak alive.
Muin Gafurov (+105) Vs Herbeth Sousa (-125)
This Bantamweight bout serves as the main event of the night, and as you can see by the odds, it pretty evenly matched. Gafurov comes in with a 17-4 career mark, but he has stumbled of late, losing 2 of his last 3 fights. No such issues for Sousa, who is 15-1 overall and on a 5-fight win streak. Sousa is the man in form and I like him to get the decision.
I have read enough, I need to place my bet now. What to do?
