Friday night is a busy one in the world of MMA, to the point where you might be forced into choosing which event you want to watch. The good news is that you can still wager on all the events and perhaps do a little bit of channel hopping to watch the fights that jump out at you. One place you may want to be is at the top of the LFA 154 main card as there are a pair of title fights to be found there. The full main card consists of 6 bouts, so let’s dive in on the MMA odds and take a quick look at them all.
MMA Betting Preview and Picks for LFA 154: Fernando vs. Silva Main Card
When: Friday, March 10
Where: Ginásio Do Polvilho, Cajamar, Sao Paulo, BR
Time: 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT
Streaming: UFC Fight Pass
Mateus Messaros Vs Rodolfo Bellato
We get the main card started with a Light Heavyweight bout that looks to be a little lopsided. Messaros has been rather inconsistent in his career, going 12-10 overall. This is his first fight with the LFA. Bellato is 8-2 (2-0 in LFA) overall, but he comes into this one on the heels of a loss. I think he bounces back nicely with a KO win here.
Jean Matsumoto Vs Marlon Basilio
Next up is a Bantamweight bout, with both fighters coming in looking to defend their perfect records. Masumoto has been impressive going 12-0 to this point, although just 1 win in the LFA. Basilio has less experience, but he is still 7-0 and making his first appearance under the LFA banner. I like Matsumoto to keep his unbeaten run alive.
Carlos Prates Vs Eduardo Ramon
It is a pair of experienced Welterweights stepping into the octagon next for what looks to be a good matchup. Prates is 15-6 (1-0 in LFA) and is on a great run of form, winning 7 in a row ahead of this one. Ramon is an impressive 21-7 and winner of 3 straight, but this is his first LFA bout. I have Prates winning this one by KO.
Felipe Douglas Vs Kaue Fernandes
We have a Lightweight bout remaining before we get to the title fights. Douglas comes in with a very respectable 21-5 record (1-0 in LFA) and a run of form that has seen him win 4 in a row. Fernandes is 1-1 under the LFA banner, with his overall record set at 7-1. I like this one to go the distance, but I think Douglas edges it.
Eduardo Neves Vs Hyago Silva
The vacant Heavyweight Championship is up for grabs, but which of these fighters will walk away with the belt? Neves is 6-1 overall and is the winner of both of his fights with the LFA. While not perfect, Silva is still unbeaten at 6-0-1, going 1-0-1 in the LFA. I think it will be Neves who gets the job done inside the distance.
Lucas Fernando Vs Jansey Silva
The final fight of the night is for the vacant LFA Middleweight Championship. Fernando has won 3 in a row to move his record to 8-1. That win streak is all with fights in the LFA. Silva comes into this one at 8-2 overall, but this will be his first fight with this organization. I think the experience helps Fernando, who I like for the KO win.
