If you like to see your MMA cards mixed in with some other types of fights, then the ONE Championship Heavy Hitters event is one that you are going to want to watch. This one is set to go at 8:30 AM EST on Friday morning and will be available on PPV. All told, there are 6 bouts on the main card, with Kickboxing and Muay Thai bouts part of the action so you can bet against their ONE Championship odds. There are also a pair of title fights on tap, so let’s dive right into the action.
MMA Betting Picks for ONE Championship: Heavy Hitters
Senzo Ikeda Vs Jeremy Miado
The main card begins with a Flyweight bout featuring a pair of fighters who have been a little up and down of late. Ikeda comes in with a 12-6-1 record, but also with just 1 win (1-2-1) in his last 4 fights. Miado has a 10-4 record, and while he is 3-2 in his last 5, he has win 2 in a row. I am all over Miado to take this one by KO.
Jaroonsak Muaythai Vs Ekaterina Vandaryeva
We step away from MMA for a moment for a Muay Thai Flyweight bout between two good fighters. Muaythai has just 1 pro fight under her belt, but it was a convincing opening round showing that got her the W. Vandaryeva is 3-2 as a pro, but both losses came in Muay Thai bouts, where she is yet to win. For that reason alone, I am taking Muaythai to win.
James Nakashima Vs Saygid Izagakhmaev
It’s back to MMA for the next bout, which is a Welterweight bout. Nakashima saw his pro career get off to a sparkling start, winning each of his first 12 fights, but the wheels have come off as he enters this bout on a 2-fight losing skid. Another tough one here, as Izagakhmaev is sitting at 19-2 and is the winner of 4 of his last 5. I think he takes this one, too.
Saemapetch Fairtex Vs Tawanchai PK Saenchai
We are back for another round of Muay Thai in this Featherweight bout. Fairtex has put together a 4-2 record as a Muay Thai fighter, but he is coming into this one on the heels of a loss after getting badly cut last time out. Saenchai is new to the pro game and has put together a 1-1 record thus far. I think he loses this one, as I am on Fairtex to win.
Roman Kryklya Vs Murat Aygun
The co-main event of the night is a big one, as it is for the Heavyweight Kickboxing Title. Kryklya comes in as the defending champion and is on a run of 8 straight wins that has taken his overall record to 9-1. Aygun has switched from Muay Thai to Kickboxing and has gone 6-1 since making that move. An impressive record, but I think the champ keeps the belt.
Jingnan Xiong Vs Ayaka Miura
The ladies will deliver the headline event of the evening and will battle it out for the Flyweight Championship. Xiong comes in as the champion, sporting a 16-2 record and 4 wins in her last 5 fights, including 2 in a row. Miura looks like a worth challenger, winning 4 of her last 5 to get to 11-3 overall. A good fight here, but I like Xiong to retain the title.
I have read enough, I need to place my bet now. What to do?
