ONE Championship: Only The Brave Betting Analysis & Predictions

If you are looking for an MMA event that also features some kickboxing bouts and you don’t mind getting up early in the morning to watch it, then the ONE Championship: Only the Brave event might well be the one for you. There are 6 fights, split between MMA and kickboxing, on the main card, which is set to start at 5:30 AM EST on Friday morning. You can catch this one on YouTube, so get the coffee pot on early and get ready to tune in to what looks to be a very good card. Let’s now take a moment to quickly break down all 6 fights on the main card so you can place your bets against the ONE Championship odds.

MMA Betting Picks for ONE Championship: Only The Brave

Hiroba Minowa Vs Jarred Brooks

We have a fantastic Flyweight bout to get things rolling, with both of these fighters not really used to losing. Minowa comes in with a 13-2 record and a 6-fight win streak under his belt, two of which came under the ONE banner. Brooks has spent some time in the UFC and Bellator, compiling a 17-2 record in the process, including a win in his first appearance with ONE. I like Brooks to get the decision in this one.

Rade Opacic Vs Francesco Xhaja

For the second fight on the main card, we have the first of 3 kickboxing events on the night. Opacic has just 5 career fights under his belt, but he has compiled an impressive 4-1 record, which includes 2 wins under the ONE banner. This will be the first time fighting with ONE for Xhaja, who has gone 1-1 in his 2 pro fights. This looks to me like another win for Opacic.

Lipeng Zhang Vs Ruslan Emilbek

Next up is an MMA Welterweight bout that features a pair of pretty experienced fighters. Zhang has compiled a 31-11-2 record over a distinguished career and has hone unbeaten in his last 4 fights (3 wins and a draw). Emilbek bounced back with a win after taking just the 2nd loss of his career, a win that takes him to 16-2 overall. I like Emilbek to start building another win streak here.

Jae Woong Kim Vs Kai Tang

This Lightweight bout is one that probably won’t go the distance, as both of these fighters have some stopping power. Kim is 12-4 and has won 5 of his last 6 fights. All 6 of those fights ended inside the distance. Tang is 13-2 and on a run that has seen him win 8 in a row. He has won 5 straight in ONE and saw 3 of those end quickly. I am leaning towards Tang for the KO win.

Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong Vs Davit Kiria

We close out the night with a pair of kickboxing bouts, with this one serving as the co-main event of the evening. After losing back-to-back fights, Sitsongpeenong bounced back with a win in Muay Thai before winning again in a kickboxing bout last time out. Kiria has been very unpredictable in his career and has now lost 4 of his last 7. I like Sitsongpeenong to get the win here.

Marat Grigorian Vs Chingiz Allazov

The headline event of the night looks to be a beauty, with two very good fighters squaring off. After a run of inconsistency, Grigorian seems to have hit his stride, coming into this one on a 6-fight win streak. It has not been quite as smooth for Allazov of late, as he has gone 2-2 in his last 4. That is enough to have me siding with Grigorian for the win.

I have read enough, I need to place my bet now. What to do?
