PFL Challenger Series: Week 3 Betting Picks & Analysis for this Week's Fights

PFL Challenger Series: Week 3 Betting Picks & Analysis for this Week’s Fights

For the majority of fighters, making it all the way to the top of the rankings is a long, hard battle that often involves paying some dues before making it to the big time. There are many different paths to becoming a UFC champion, with one of those path passing through the PFL Challenger Series.

The main PFL league starts later in the year, but these bouts are designed to give fighter a gateway into the league proper. The bouts are fought over a period of weeks, with each weight class represented. We are about to head into Week 3, with this one devoted to the Heavyweights, so expect to see some brutal fights on Friday night, starting at 9 PM EST. You can catch all of the action on FuboTV, with 4 fights set to go on the card, so let’s check them all out and you can then bet on the PFL Betting Odds.

Louie Sutherland Vs Alton Meeks

We get the night rolling with a pair of fighters who seem to be rather evenly matched, if you are going by their records alone. Sutherland came flying out of the gate, winning his first 4 pro fights, but that streak came to an end with a loss last time out. Meeks comes in with the same 4-1 record, but he was able to bounce back with a win after his lone loss. I don’t see this one going the distance, as I like Meeks for the KO win.

Abraham Bably Vs Hassan Graham

This is a much tougher fight to predict given that neither fighter has a ton of experience to draw on when handicapping. Bably has one both of his pro fights, including a win in the PFL last year. He won one inside the distance, while the PFL win was by decision. Graham has only had 1 pro fight to this point, but it only took him 57 seconds to get it. Another good one here, but I am on Bably for the KO win.

Vitor Resende Vs Isaiah Pinson

We have another pair of unbeaten fighters set to square off in the co-main event of the evening. Resende has been solid in his time as a pro, winning all 4 of his fights to this point, while not having to go beyond Round 2 to get those wins. Pinson is still very new to the pro game, but he did pick up the win in his opening fight. That little bit extra experience should help Resende get the KO win.

Danilo Marques Vs Ras Hylton

We close the night out with a big one, and this time there is no lack of experience on display. Marques comes into this bout at 12-4 overall, and while he did have a little 2-fight losing streak going, he snapped out of it with a win in his last fight. Hylton has been a little up and down as a pro, going 906, but he comes into this one having won 3 in a row. I think it will be Marques who gets the win via submission.
