PFL Challenger Series: Week 4 Betting Picks & Analysis for this Week’s Fights

After a few weeks away from the action, the PFL returns on Thursday night for Week 4 of the season, with the focus on the Featherweights and Light Heavyweights. For most of the fighters taking part on Thursday night, this will be their second bout of the season, so some will almost certainly punch their tickets into the playoffs, while the losers will be put under some serious pressure. All told, there are 5 bouts set to go in Week 4, which begins at 6:30 PM EST on Thursday night, with all of the action available to those of you who have ESPN+. There are some great bouts in here to bet on PFL, so let’s quickly break them down.

2023 PFL Regular Season: Featherweights & Light Heavyweights

When: Thursday at 6:30 PM EST
Where: Atlanta, Georgia
TV / Streaming: ESPN/ESPN+

Josh Silveira Vs Delan Monte

We get the main card started with a Light Heavyweight bout featuring a pair of fighters in very different kinds of form. Silveira is 10-1 overall and bounced back with a win last time out after taking the first loss of his pro career. That win came early in his first PFL bout of the season. Monte lost his first bout of the season and needs a win, especially when you consider that he has now lost 3 of his last 4. This should be another win for Silveira.

Bubba Jenkins Vs Sung Bin Jo

The Featherweights are up next in what is a bit of a tricky one to call. Jenkins has already fought this season and picked up a win, taking his record to 20-6 in the process. Jo is coming off a win his last time out, moving to 10-2, but this will be his first appearance in the 2023 season. You have to think that momentum is on the side of Jenkins, which is why I like him to get the decision win.

Marthin Hamlet Vs Sam Kei

This is one of those fights where it is very much do or die for one of these fighters. Hamlet helped his playoff chances by winning his opening bout of the season to move to 11-4 overall, which Kei lost his first fight and is now winless in 2 and sitting at an 8-7 record. This should not be too tough for Hamlet, who I think gets the win and moves on to the playoffs.

Movlid Khaybulaev vs Tyler Diamond

Next up, we have a Featherweight bout that serves as the co-main event of the evening. Khaubulaev comes into this one having already won this season and taking his record to a very impressive 20-0-1 in the process. This will be the first bout of the season for Diamond, who is 12-2 overall, with those 2 losses coming in his last 5 fights. I think this one goes the distance, with Khaybulaev getting the decision.

Brendan Loughnane Vs Jesus Pinedo

We close the night out with another Featherweight bout. Loughnane leads the way in the weight class after an impressive win in his opening bout that allowed him to pick up 5 points, while extending his pro record to 27-4. Pinedo needs a win in the worst way after losing his opening bout to fall to a still impressive 20-6-1 overall. A good matchup, but Loughnane is just too good.
