This week’s MMA action gets underway early, with Rizin FF delivering a huge main card in the very early hours of Wednesday morning. The Trigger 2nd event is set to begin at midnight EST, and you can expect this one to last a while. There are 8 fights on the main card, as well as a host of kickboxing bouts. We are going to stick to the MMA battles and make out predictions for those fights so you can make your bets against the Rizin FF Odds.
MMA Betting Preview for Rizin FF Trigger 2nd
Takuma Uchiyama Vs Kotetsu Hara
A pair of relative newbies open up the main card with a Bantamweight bout. It has been an up and down start to life as a pro for Uchiyama, who has gone 2-3 in his first 5 fights, although he is coming off a win. Hara took the first loss of his pro career last time out, falling to 2-1 in the process, but I think he bounces back with a win.
Katsushi Kojima Vs Kouki Nakagawa
It’s the Featherweights up next for what looks to be a very interesting matchup. Kojima comes into this bout with a 12-5-1 record, winning each of his last 3 fights. Nakagawa started hos pro career with 7 straight wins, but he has now lost 2 in a row. A good battle here, but I like Kojima to get the job done with a KO win.
Daisuke Endo Vs Hikaru Yoshino
This Bantamweight bout delivers an experienced brawler going against an up-and-coming fighter. Endo is 18-12-2 overall, but he has been in great form of late, winning 4 of his last 5. Yoshino comes in with a 10-2 career mark and also has 4 wins in his last 5. Two fighters in form here, but I think it will be Yoshino who gets the decision.
Kohei Tokeshi Vs Harry Stallone
This Lightweight bout is an interesting one and tough to handicap, as it features a pair of fighters struggling to find wins. Tokeshi is 6-8 overall and is on a run that has seen him lose 2 in a row and 3 of his last 4. I think both men are going to come out swinging as they search for a win, and I like Tokeshi to get the KO.
Suguru Nii Vs Sora Yamamoto
You have to say that this Featherweight bout is the first fight of the evening to look totally lopsided. Nii has been inconsistent his entire career, putting together a 12-11-0 record. Yamamoto is coming off a loss that snapped a great run of form, dropping to 12-6-2 in the process. I don’t think he has any problem getting back to winning ways here.
Akira Okada Vs Takumi Suzuki
We are getting towards the bigger fights of the night, starting with this Lightweight bout. Okada is 16-8-4 overall and is coming into this bout on a 3-fight win streak. Suzuki is 11-5-0 and is the winner of 2 in a row after losing 2 of his previous 3. This looks like a good matchup, but I think it’s one that Okada wins by KO.
Kenji Kato Vs Kazuma Kuramoto
The penultimate fight of the night is a Bantamweight bout featuring a pair of fighters in streaky form right now. Kato appears to have turned the corner, winning each of his last 3 fights after a rough patch and sitting at 13-7-0. Kuramoto is 6-2, but those 2 losses have come over his last 3 fights. I don’t see this one going the distance, with Kuramoto getting the KO win.
Kleber Koike Erbst Vs Ulka Sasaki
The main event of the night is a Featherweight bout between a pair of very good fighters. Erbst comes in with a 28-5-1 record, winning each of his last 4 fights. Sasaki is heading in the opposite direction, losing 3 of his last 4 to fall to 23-9-2 overall. I have to go with the man in form here, which is why I am leaning towards Erbst for the submission win.
I have read enough, I need to place my bet now. What to do?
