The season is moving along quickly, and we are now down to the last 4 races of the Xfinity Series schedule. The Round of 8 is now set, with 3 more races to come before we get down to the final four and the last race of the year. We have a couple of drivers who have upped their game in the playoffs, but with the new round set to begin this coming Saturday afternoon, the slate is essentially wiped clean. The winner of the Alsco Uniforms 302, which goes off at 3:30 PM EST in Las Vegas, will punch their ticket into the final four, so it’s not putting things mildly to say that this one is huge. Let’s take a look at some of the favorites so you can continue making your bets against the NASCAR Xfinity Series Odds.
NASCAR Xfinity Series Betting Preview for the 2022 Alsco Uniforms 302 Race
Noah Gragson
For a moment, it looked as though Gragson was going to run away with the championship after winning the first 4 races of the playoffs. He has not won in the last 2 races, but he has been in the top 10 in both, including a podium finish last weekend. Gragson is certainly considered one of the men to beat now, so he has to be seen as a legitimate threat again this weekend. He ran 2md in Las Vegas earlier this season, while also finishing on the podium in 2 playoff runs in Las Vegas over the past 2 seasons.
AJ Allmendinger
While Gragson may have had the upper hand in the first few rounds of the playoffs, it is Allmendinger who has the hot hand now. He has won each of the last 2 races and looks to be gearing up for a major challenge. Allmendinger made it all the way to the top 4 last season, his first full year with the Xfinity Series, and he looks like a good bet to do the same again this time around. Allmendinger has a win and a podium finish in 2 of his last 3 runs in Las Vegas, so expect him to be in the mix again this weekend.
Ty Gibbs
While Gragson and Allmendinger are emerging as the favorites to win it all this season, things can change in a heartbeat in the NASCAR playoffs. One driver that need to be paid attention to is Ty Gibbs, even though it has been a minute since his last victory this season. Gibbs already has 5 wins under his belt this season and is coming off a podium finish in the last race. The one thing that makes him particularly dangerous this weekend is that he already has a win in Vegas this season.
Justin Allgaier
You can’t help but feel a little bit sorry for Allgaier, as no one has been more consistent over the past decade or so, yet he has never been able to take the next step and win a championship. He has made it all the way to the final 4 no less than 6 times and looks like a good bet to do it again this season. He has a couple of top 5 finishes in his last 2 runs at Las Vegas, but he will be looking for a win that will secure that final four spot.
