The goal of every driver looking to make a career in NASCAR is to eventually find their way to the Cup Series. It can be a tough road, but everyone needs to start somewhere, which in the world of NASCAR means paying your dues in some of the other series. A good example of that is Ty Gibbs, who made the move to the Xfinity Series after winning the ARCA Menards Series last year. This will be just one step that he makes as he looks to advance his career, but it is proof that these smaller series are actually quite important. This week. We will be taking a look at the current state of the ARCA Menards Series, as well as heading north of the border to take a look at what is happening in the Pinty’s Series. Let’s go ahead and dive right in so you can get ready to bet against the NASCAR odds.
Motor Sports Betting Preview for ARCA Menards Series, & Pinty’s Series Races
ARCA Menards Series
Their season run for 20 races, and with 11 in the books, we are now more than halfway home. If you haven’t been paying attention to what is going on here, you really need to, as the top 3 drivers are separated by a mere 5 points. Given how things have gone, you would have to think that the champion will emerge from that group.
Sitting on top with 516 points is Rajah Caruth, who will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing run in Indianapolis last weekend, where he eventually finished 8th. Not the best result, but enough to keep him on top.
Nick Sanchez finished one place ahead of Caruth last weekend and is now just 2 points out of the top spot. He has been the model of consistency this season, landing in the top 10 in 8 of the 11 races to this point.
Daniel Dye is sitting in 3rd with 511 points and is coming off a 4th place finish that was made all the more impressive by the fact that he almost wrecked earlier in the race.
These guys, as well as the chasing pack, will be racing in the Henry Ford Health 200 in Michigan on Saturday, so be sure to tune in.
Pinty’s Series
After a midweek doubleheader last week, the Canadian based Pinty’s Series moves back to the weekend for the Les 60 Tours Rousseau Metal this coming Sunday in Quebec. Much like the Menards Series the battle for top spot here is about as tight as it gets, with the top 3 drivers separated by just 5 points.
Kevin Lacroix remains in the top spot with a total of 306 points, which came from a pair of wins and 6 top 10 finishes in the 8 races this season. Whether he can maintain that lead remains to be seen, as he is just a single point up on DJ Kennington, who picked up a win in the doubleheader last week.
Closing out the top 3 is Marc-Antoine Camirand, who has 301 points and also has a couple of wins on the season. This battle has been going on all season long and we can probably expect it to be that way all the way to the final race of the season.
