NASCAR Cup Series: The Great American Getaway 400 Odds, Top 4 to Win, Final Pick

NASCAR Cup Series: The Great American Getaway 400 Odds, Top 4 to Win, Final Pick

If the regular season was a race, the drivers would be entering the final few laps, with the playoffs very much in sight.

The Cup Series schedule rolls on this weekend, as does the jockeying for position. This is especially true down near the cut line, where things are about as tight as it gets.

Betting NASCAR Odds this Weekend, Favorites at The Great American Getaway 400
1. Denny Hamlin | 629 points
2. Kyle Larsson | 671 points
4. Christopher Bell | 586 points
3. Martin Truex Jr. | 601 points

My Cup Series Analysis

There is also a very good battle going on at the top of the standings, with the #1 driver at the end of the regular season getting a few extra points boost heading into the playoffs.

Given how tight things are across the board, we could well see the standings change regularly in the final few weeks.

Let’s see how they change after this weekend’s race, the Great American Gateway 400, at Pocono. Check out at our current NASCAR odds for the favorites.

Denny Hamlin NASCAR betting Pick +390

Hamlin is sitting pretty in 4th place in the driver standings at the moment, but he has not been very good over the past month or so, with disappointing finishes in each of his last 4 races.

During that run, his best finish was 12th, which is not what we would expect from a driver of his caliber.

This streak is all the more surprising when you consider how consistent he was prior to that, with 3 wins to his name.

There is always the feeling that he will snap out of it, and this might be the track where it happens, as he won this race last season. I see him in the top 5 here.

Kyle Larsson NASCAR betting Pick +500

Larson continues to occupy the top spot in the driver standings, which is all the more impressive when you consider that he has run 1 less race than the rest of the pack, as he opted out of one race to take part in the Indianapolis 500.

In terms of this race, I think that Larson is in among the favorites based on his performances this season as opposed to what he has done on this track, because he has not been particularly good on the Pocono Raceway.

Still, he is a driver you can never count out and might be worth taking a top 3 risk on.

Christopher Bell NASCAR betting Pick +700

Very recently, Bell went into something of a tear over a 5-race period, winning twice and finishing inside the top 10 in the other 3.

That run came to an abrupt end a couple of weeks ago, with Bell failing to even crack the top 35 in each of his last 2 runs.

This is the 3rd time that this has happened to him this season, and he has bounced back with a strong performance every time, including a win in Phoenix.

He has been steady on this track, and I think Bell could be a good winning pick this weekend.

Martin Truex Jr. NASCAR betting Pick +720

You could very well look at the fact that Truex Jr. has not won a race this season and immediately count him out, but that might not be the best idea on this track.

While he has just 1 top 10 finish in his last 8 races, he is still up among the top 5 drivers in the standings, plus he has a pretty good history on this track, finishing in the top 3 last season.

He might be worth a look for a lesser prize.
