NASCAR 2021 Rackley Roofing 200 Betting Odds & Picks

While the Cup Series drivers spent last weekend concentrating on winning the All-Star Race, the Truck Series drivers were in business-as-usual mode. It was another win for the man sitting at the top of the driver standings, and while it is beginning to look as though John H. Nemechek is going to be the one to beat this season, the reality is that we still have a long way to go. After all, let’s not forget that Kevin Harvick looked like an absolute lock to win the Cup Series last year, and we all know how that turned out. This weekend, the Truck Series heads to Nashville for the Rackley Roofing 200, with the chasing pack trying to close the gap at the top. Let’s take a look at the favorites for this one so you can place your bets against their NASCAR Truck Series odds.

NASCAR World Truck Series Betting Preview for the Rackley Roofing 200 Race

John H. Nemechek (+180)

The Truck Series season hit the midway point last weekend in Texas, and it is now more than fair to say that we have a clear favorite emerging. It was Nemechek who won for the second straight week, giving him 4 wins on the season, as well as a clear lead at the top of the driver standings. Big lead or not, the way that NASCAR is set up when it comes to the playoffs means that no one in the Nemechek camp will be popping the champagne just yet. This will be the first NASCAR race at the Nashville Superspeedway, so there really is no previous race history to go on here.

Sheldon Creed (+500)

The defending Truck Series champion is showing just how tough it is to repeat, as Sheldon Creed is in the middle of what could best be described as a bit of a rough patch. While things have not been going his way of late, his performance is 2021 is eerily like what he delivered last year. At this stage of the season in 2020, he had 1 win, which is what he has now, and delivered a pair of duds before entering the second half of the season. After that, he won 4 races, including 2 in the final 3 weeks, so we may well be on the cusp of seeing the best from the defending champion.

Austin Hill (+800)

You don’t always need to rack up a ton of wins to come away with a championship, but it certainly helps the cause. Austin Hill heads to Nashville still looking for his first win of the season, yet he is still very much in the hunt, sitting 3rd in the driver standings. It has been his ability to consistently pick up points that has him so high in the standings, landing in the top 10 8 times in 11 races this season, including 3 in a row ahead of this one. You do get the sense that a win is coming sooner rather than later.

Zane Smith (+900)

Zane Smith made about as big a splash as possible in his first full season in the Truck Series last year. He closed out 2020 with a trio of podium finishes that led to him finishing 2nd overall in the driver standings. He only had 1 win on the season, but that run of form in the playoffs proves that you don’t need to win a lot, but you do need to get hot at the right time. He is currently 5th in the driver standings, picking up 7 top 10 finishes in 11 races.
