In terms of the regular season and making the playoffs in the Truck Series, it all comes down to one final race.
This weekend is the final regular season race of the year, with the top 10 drivers moving on to the playoffs and a shot at ending the season as the Truck Series champion.

My Analysis
For the most part, the top 10 looks to be set in stone, save perhaps for that final spot, so it’s all about jockeying for position now.
There is also the question of the regular season championship to be decided, although that too looks to be a total lock.
We will get all the answers on Saturday night once we get through with the running of the Clean Harbors 250 in Richmond. Let’s take a look at a few of the major players.
^Christian Eckes
It looks certain that Eckes is going to end the regular season at the top of the driver standings, given that he has a 50-point lead heading into the final race.
While that is certainly a nice accomplishment, you can bet that Eckes is looking for more. He has made it to the playoffs in each of the last 2 seasons, but he has not made it to the final four for a shot at the championship.
He certainly seems to be hitting great form at the right time, coming into this race having landed on the podium in 4 straight races.
Furthermore, he has had zero success on this track, but his current form suggests that a win might be a good bet.

Corey Heim
It is always interesting to see how a driver will react after coming close to a championship in the previous season.
That is what happened with Heim in 2023, as he made it to the final four before coming up short in the final race of the season.
He is having a great season to this point, winning 5 races, 3 of which have come in the last 6 races.
He heads to Richmond looking to improve on his last 2 runs on this track, where he finished 5th and 6th, respectively. A top 5 finish looks guaranteed here.
^Ty Majeski
Majeski will be heading to the playoffs for the third straight season, but will he be able to finally win the championship?
He will almost certainly be there or thereabouts, but his inability to win on a regular basis could well prove to be a problem. He has had 2 wins at this level in the last 2 years, with both of those wins coming on the same road course.
That makes it tough to wager on him to win, but with back-to-back podium finishes in Richmond, he is a solid top 3 bet.
^Nicholas Sanchez
Sanchez had a very solid debut season in the Truck Series, making it to the playoffs before settling for 6th overall.
He did not manage to pick up a win in his inaugural season, but he quickly rectified that by winning the opening race of this season in Daytona.
He has won 1 more race since then and has done enough to stay in the #4 spot in the driver standings.
As for this weekend, I think that a top 5 finish might be the best we can expect.

2023 Clean Harbors 175
While the Cup and Xfinity Series are still closing out their regular season races, the Truck Series playoff is very much in full swing. The opening race in the Round of 10 has already been completed, with Ty Majeski winning and punching his ticket into the final 8. While he can relax a little this weekend, the other drivers still taking part in the postseason cannot, so they will be going all out for the win on Friday at the Milwaukee Mile in the running of the Clean Harbors 175. Every driver will be well aware that a win is an automatic spot into the next round, so there is certainly all to race for this weekend. Let’s take a look at the current NASCAR Truck odds and the favorites to win this one.

Ty Majeski
NASCAR Truck Series Pick: +197
As we already mentioned, the pressure is off Majeski on Friday after his win in the opening race of the playoffs. That said, momentum counts for a lot in the postseason, so he is not going to want to take his foot off the gas at this point. What he is doing right now is eerily similar to what Majeski did last season in that he saved his first win of the season for the playoffs. He did that in 2022, winning a pair of postseason races to make it to the final 4 before ultimately coming up short. This will be his first crack at the Milwaukee Mile.
Corey Heim
NASCAR Truck Series Pick: +400
As we head into the weekend, Heim finds himself sitting in 2nd in the driver standings, with a pair of wins to his name this season. He had a bit of a disappointing start to the postseason, finishing 8th in the first race in the Round of 10. He has now gone 3 straight races without a win, but he did finish in the top 10 in all 3 of those races. Whatever way you look at it, this has to be seen as a breakout season for Heim, who did not make the playoff cut last year. Heim is in decent form right now, so a top 5 finish certainly looks like a good bet.
Zane Smith
NASCAR Truck Series Pick: +470
Smith came into this season as the defensing Truck Series champion, and with 2 wins through the opening 4 races of the 2023 season, it looked as though he was more than ready to defend that title. Smith has now gone 12 straight races without a win, but it is not all doom and gloom, as he did land on the podium in 5 of those races. Still, he would love to get back to winning ways, but given that the Milwaukee Mile is not a regular stop, it’s tough to know how he might make out on Friday.
Carson Hocevar
NASCAR Truck Series Pick: +490
Hocevar is proving to be something of a surprise package this season after finishing 10th overall in each of the last 2 years. He is currently in the #4 slot in the driver standings and has more wins (3) than any other driver in the Truck Series. 2 of those wins have come in the last 5 races, so he looks like a driver rounding into form at just the right time. He will definitely be moving on, but he would love to get his first playoff win this weekend.
