With the 2024 NASCAR season just coming to an end this past weekend, you would think that we would let the champions celebrate and allow the dust to settle before looking ahead to the 2025 season.
There are certainly a lot of people who will do that, but for others, it’s all about thinking ahead and deciding how to wager once the new season begins.
My Truck Series Analysis
Before we get to that point, though, there are some things to consider, not the least of which is that drivers will be on the move.
We are going to see drivers in the Xfinity and Truck Series make upward moves, while others move down to what are considered lower levels.
With that in mind, we are still awaiting the odds for the 2025 season, but let’s talk about a few drivers who might be in the conversation to win the 2025 Truck Series, keeping in mind that at least one of these guys may be racing elsewhere.

Ty Majeski
In his first full season in the Truck Series, which came in 2022, Majeski served notice that he was going to be in it to win it, going to the Championship Round and finishing 4th overall.
He took a bit of a backward step in his second season, but then bounced right back by winning it all in 2024.
If he sticks around, it stands to reason that he will be the favorite to win again, as his 3 career wins this season was a personal best, and you get the feeling that Majeski is just getting started with winning.
^Corey Heim
With spots opening up in the Xfinity Series, Corey Heim is one of the names being mentioned as potentially filling one of those holes.
Until that is verified, we are going under the assumption that he will still be in the Truck Series and still be a factor in terms of winning the championship.
Heim may still feel as though he has some unfinished business to attend to here, as he has now gone to the Championship Round in both of his full seasons in the Truck Series, only to settle 4th and 2nd, respectively.
^Christian Eckes
Over the last 3 seasons, Eckes has finished higher than the year before, with his 3rd place overall finish this season being a career best for the young driver.
He looks set to have a solid career in NASCAR, more likely at a higher level than where he is now, but you also get the feeling that he would love to sign off from the Truck Series with a championship win.
Given his progression over the past few years, Eckes is the driver that I would be willing to wager a few bucks on right now to win it all in 2025.
^Grant Enfinger
This is another driver who has been knocking on the door of a championship win, only to come up short.
Enfinger has been to the final four 3 times in his Truck Series career, including in each of the last 2 seasons, and he will almost certainly be in the conversation again in 2025.
Oftentimes, it takes drivers a few trips to the brink of a championship before they finally break through and get the win. For me, Enfinger is right there.
